We book our trip to WDW a month ago. Today it just hit me again:
I'M GOING TO WALT DISNEY WORLD!!!
I don't know how many can understand what it means to us. I grew up here in Indiana, one of four kids, we didn't have much money. I remember it was always a dream of ours to go, and every year we would hear "Maybe next year." But it never worked out.
DH has been, once, around thirty years ago. His family, also four kids and even less money than mine, were living in Florida and scraped enough money together to go for a single day to the Magic Kingdom. That's the entirety of his own Disney experience.
Sorry, I'm just feeling really excited about it. I'm nearly 40 and can remember being too young for school and my parents telling me "maybe next year we'll go to Disney World". I can't even think of our trip with starting to tear up a little - I imagine when we get there I'll be a sobbing mess the whole time.
Okay, I just wanted to share my excitement.
