We passed... finally!! We are now in...

After waiting 5 weeks, we finally heard, today, that we have passed ROFR!!!
We got 300 OKW points March use year (plus all 300 banked from 2003, and all 300 from 2004, with all of 300 for 2005 coming)...

I think we got a steal at $70/pt...
We are psyched...
Now we will be awaiting our member packet/info...
Any ideas as to when we might get a member number and be able to start using up some of those points?

Have fun using up those points! As a last resort you can always swap them into Disney hotels or the concierge or world passport collections, assume you get into the system in time. Good luck!

Congratulations! Sounds like you got a great deal with all those points. We just purchased a resale also. We were told to call member services about a week after closing to get our member number and make reservations.

I was able to call and make ressies 2 days after my closing day with MS. I would just call every day after and see what they say. They were very nice to me. They looked up my name and social security number and then gave me my member number even before the points were registered in the system. It was so exciting to make my first ressie. Have fun!!!

Congrats--but I am still wondering what happened with your friend who rented and had no confirmation. You asked for someone to call MS and then after advice from the boards you said you got the info you needed. But then you never told us what happened! What happened? Is everything ok with your friend's point rental?

Your post makes me hopeful --and a bit jealous. I'm waiting to hear about our resale--for a few fewer points and a bit higher price. I'd seen some posts of folks who'd passes ROFR from about the same time as our contract should have gone. But if yours went through, then surely mine will, too.

I've got definite plans for my 460 combined two year's points, but I'm not gonna jinx it!!
