We need tips for wedding planing

We are planing a wedding for my DN we need help! We are going to the open house on the 28th but other then that we have no idea what to expect. Its just going to be about 25 people at the wedding but we dont know what to do for a reception. If there is any tips or advice that anyone knows that can help PLEASE let us know..TIA
