We need more form the podcast crew!!!

Wouldn't it be nice to hear a podcast 5 times a week? Just think how many smiles the podcast crew could put on our faces. I mean it is only 90-120 minutes a day and they probably have nothing else to do....

Ok, now that I have several podcast flames on the way and I have your undivided attention (I am guessing that it takes at least two days to put one of the shows together that we so dearly love)... The real reason for my post..

My wonderful, somewaht OCD wife Lori (and several others on the board) are quickly approaching the development of a schedule (in 10 minute increments no less) that details the activity they wish to pursue on the podcast cruise....

We have several folks on here who enjoy the fine art of planning (I on the otherhand will probably be buying underwear at Walgreens on the way to the terminal)

In the interest of sanity for the non-planners out there (surely I am not the only one) I think it would be fun if the venerable podcast crew would start feeding the flames by announcing, in monthly (small) increments the activities that are planned for the cruise

This would provide much joy as the non-planners watch the planners scramble to re-arrange schedules each month. This would help us all get through the months ahead and shorten the wait to the cruise

Just a thought, oh well I must go work on my green hair...

That would be a TON of fun, Rick, since the Crew really has no way to firm up any plans as yet...so anything they might release would be purely conjectural, and subject to multiple changes, thus driving the OCD completely MAD with a re-booking and re-organizing fever!

I wish we could give everyone all the details right now, but we don't have any yet.

There are lots of things we want to do (parties, giveaways, live show, special guests, something on Castaway Cay) but we can't make any definate plans until Disney Cruise Line is ready to work those out with us - and as of right now it is too soon to firm up any plans.

We keep bugging them, but until we get closer to the sail date there isn't much more I can say than we have lot's planned and a lot of ides - it will just be a matter of what DCL can do for and with us.

Trust me - I know about compulasive planning, I built a career around it

I promise, as soon as we have anything planned, even the smallest detail, we will share that with everyone.

In the meantime it is your job to talk your DIS friends, neighbors, family and any stranger who will listen into joining us. The more staterooms we have booked and the more people we have on this sailing the more 'leverage' we will have with DCL to execute our plans <insert evil scientist type laugh here>

I want to see a game show on one of the live podcast.

Not sure what but something where you could monitor John's pulse and BP when Pete (Acting as Wink Martindale) was hosting the game and giving away prizes and if John's BP went over a certain amount you win double for the day.

If John kept his BP and pulse down, the disser would lose and would have to do some menial task like go paint John and Kevin's house or detail their car or something while they sat in the shade drinking lemonade and yelled demoralizing comments at the loser disser such as "oh servant, one must only use turtle wax on a PT".

I'm right there with you!! My poor DH is going to regret planning a trip this far in advance...
