Jim Cantore is in town! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

The snow is taking its own sweet time getting here so poor Jim was standing on Michigan Ave predicting gloom and doom with nary a flake (well snowflake) to be seen! :happytv:

Poor guy, someone needs to whip up a gale force wind and make him feel better!

Holy crap!!!! Jim Cantore???? :teeth: I'm jealous! Mike Seidel comes here all the time for hurricanes. But you guys got Jim Cantore! :lmao:

Oh man, it's never good when Jim's in town. Hope he has to relocate soon and the brunt of it misses you.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Anytime my husband and I hear abou bad weather, we always joke we'll get to see Jim! I feel bad for him at times. Give the guy a break once in awhile. ;) But, he's good at what he does.

Michelle :flower3:

Yep when DH told me that yesterday I knew we were in for it. I was surprised by how many where I work didn't even know who Jim Cantore is. Of course when I posted it on facebook my friends in FL sure knew.:) During storms you don't want Jim coming to your town. :rotfl:

I don't know.... he's not bad to look at.... may be a good thing he's in town!!! DD17 loves to watch the weather channel when he's on!!! ;)

Oh, I love Jim Cantore--in other places! When he comes to the Twin Cities, he makes me VERY NERVOUS! :happytv:

I would say that I am sorry that he's in your town, but, if I'm being honest, I'm glad he's there instead of here! :rotfl2:

He looked kind of silly on the news last night, didn't he? He was trying to do his storm-drama thing without any weather happening.

The storm was suppose to be in our area by 3:00 p.m. It kept getting pushed back.
6:00 p.m. nope
9:00 p.m.
midnight nope
I think it finally started to snow at 3:00 a.m.

I thought it was the opposite, when Jim Cantore shows up, nothing happens.

I just talked to a service rep in chicago and they barely got anything. He should of came up to WI, at least Milwaukee. I live north of Milwaukee and we have 12 inches, and it is only 10:00 a.m. I just heard it is almost done, but another inch or 2. We are suppose to get another 4 on Saturday and another 6 on Monday.

I'm guessing he's from the Weather Channel? Well, we are on "Storm Watch." I love that term. Like, gosh, we are in the mid-west, it's winter, and Yike! Snow's coming! Hey, us veterans of 67 know snow! This is sissy stuff. :cool2:

We are north of the city and ended up with 6" so not too bad. Just finished the driveway so all is well. Kids started Winter break a day early, it is 10:20a and DD already says she is bored. Hmm, I think the sidewalk could use another go over......
