We made an offer this holiday weekend

Well we did it. Made one offer and it was turned down with a reoffer but we decided it was too many points for us and we wanted to spend less so we let it go. Next day we made another offer...and it was accepted.

We sent our signed papers in Sat night...still waiting for the Sellers to turn theirs in...whats with that? they accepted our offer in about 15 mins...thats how quick we got our return call...so you would think they would be quicker on signing the offer so it can go to Disney

So we went with VWL - 150 pts - Sept UY - 2013/150, 2014/150, 2015/150
$80 per point. $12,000 -

cross your fingers they get this going quick. I will post on ROFT once I know its on its way to Disney

of for fun I looked up what we paid for our original DVC in 2003 at BCV and it was $84 a point...9 years ago. So I feel pretty good about our deal

Sellers have to be notarized so it takes longer. Many also have trouble letting go so they take their time and/or there may be a loan payoff.

We made an offer late Sunday, and it was accepted Monday morning. Everyone had their contracts signed and to the broker this morning. I received an email that it has been sent to ROFR so the waiting begins!

They mailed their docs in...so they will hopefully be there by Sat from MD so...just waiting but at least I know they sent them in
