We ( DHB and me) stayed a week at POFQ from 02/03 till 02/10 and we loved it. We had a first floor corner room with a kingbed in building 4 and the room was so nice, it looked like a deluxe-room. Building 4 is really close to the foodcourt and the busstop, so that was very convenient. One day we decided to have some lunch at the POR and that was a only a 10 minute walk away. We had some meals at the POFQ foodcourt, that we liked a lot. DHB enjoyed the chicken jambalaya and I had the potroast that was really good.
For lunch they serve a real nice tacosalad and their chicken enchilladas are also very tasty.
The foodcourt is rather small I think, but you were also able to eat your meal in the lobby of the hotel at the tables of the bar. The hotel was very crowded, contestants of the National Dance Championship were staying there as well. We were there during Mardi Gras and CMs gave us beads and had a very small parade with the golfcarts the CM use. It was rather funny
One day we wanted to go to DTD by boat, but the line was so huge, that we decided to take the bus. Busservice was great by the way.
We had a very pleasant stay at a lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings and we will be back for sure.
