Angel and Scooter Together Forever!!!
March 5, 2012
After our walk around the streets of New York we decided to head over 15 minutes early to our Lunch Reservation at

Yay generic internet photo!!! (I forgot to take one). We walked in and the girl who checked us in was so friendly she was our “Just Engaged” button and asked if she could see my ring. She loved it and thought that the purple stone was such a neat idea we had a conversation with her and on of the other guys at the desk and they said we would be seated shortly.
We went and found a living room to sit in and wait.

I love the waiting room of this restaurant. I wouldn’t mind sitting in there all day!!! I really wish I was have been around to live in a house like this, the 50’s really just fascinate me.

Before we even really Sat down they were calling our names to be seated that’s why there is all of one picture of where we sat down haha.
Our waiters name was Tommy, he was HILARIOUS (Keirsten and Primo, who you will meet pretty soon actually had him as well when they went a few days after). He gave everyone in the room nicknames Andy and I were Scooter and Angel. I could already tell that this was going to be the best experience that we would have in this restaurant.
We started our by setting the table. Then we were allowed to order. We started out with onion rings because I had seen them all over the disboards and NEEDED to try them.

I also got a cherry sprite. The onion rings were delicious and the dipping sauce, I devoured them and it. Ugh so good.

Andy wasn’t a fan of the horseradish sauce so he picked at the onion rings. He’s not really a fan of onion rings when you can tell that there are onions in them so basically he ate the batter from the outside.
The waiter teased everyone in the room. At one point during the TV clips they show the opening of Disneyland and it shows Mickey running into the parks with all of the guests and he screamed “Run Mickey!!! They going to get you, watch out!!!” It was so funny. Then he got a big straw(?) and starting poking people in the other rooms.

Or soon arrived very quickly I ordered the Chicken Cesar Salad, which I swear, was as big as my head. It was giant!!! But so good. Of course I scarffed down the onion rings so fast that I couldn’t finish it and you know what that means “Choo Choo” or as he had the entire room chant “chew chew chew!!!” It was so embarrassing and funny.

Scooter got the pot roast, which he loved and since he didn’t eat any onion rings he finished his whole plate. LAME no embarrassing task for Andy.

I was enjoying my food far too much to get any good pictures of the place, I apologize, looks like everyone will just have to go and try it out for themselves!!!
From there we decided to head over to Voyage of the Little Mermaid because when we were there in August it was closed and I was heartbroken. Ariel is my all time favorite.

We jumped in line because the next show was starting really soon but wouldn’t you know we missed it by literally 5 people. So we waited the 30-45 minutes for the next one but thumbs up because we were first in line!!! That is until the let all the fastpass people in.
The show was good, Ariel’s voice was interesting I don’t remember it fully but there was something distinct that I wasn’t a fan of. It might have just had to do with the fact that my eyes were really starting to hurt again and I couldn’t keep them open with all the lights and effects.
We stopped by the little gift shop outside but then decided that it was time to head back to the room for a bit because my eyes just we not taking any more light

On our way out we got a few more photopass photos with glasses on so that you couldn’t see that sadness that was my eye.

And off we went to take a nice little nap before we stayed out “all night”.
Bye bye Mickey!!! See ya real soon.

That Mickey was always my favorite growing up not really sure why but I thought it was so perfect and magical.
We arrived back at the resort in to time and let m tell you I was dragging.

We slowly made our way back to NOT TOY STORY aka 101 Dalmations.

You can tell I was slowing down because usually I am like 50 feet ahead of Andy and this time he was leading the way.

When we finally got back to the room all of our friends were just waiting for us to come and snuggle

Obviously I couldn’t say no to those cute guys so we took a nap for a half an hour because the plan was to stay out until park closing, which I believe, was midnight.
Naps are so good. I hate to take them when I am in Disney because I feel like they are a waste of precious time but my eyes really just weren’t having anymore awake time at the moment so I took out my contacts put in some eyes drops and passed out.
Tune In Next Time!!!
