We loved it so much WE HAD TO GO BACK!!! A Spontaneous Spring Break Trip Update 7/20

Angel and Scooter Together Forever!!!
March 5, 2012

After our walk around the streets of New York we decided to head over 15 minutes early to our Lunch Reservation at

Disney502527sPrimeTimeCafe002.jpg

Yay generic internet photo!!! (I forgot to take one). We walked in and the girl who checked us in was so friendly she was our “Just Engaged” button and asked if she could see my ring. She loved it and thought that the purple stone was such a neat idea we had a conversation with her and on of the other guys at the desk and they said we would be seated shortly.

We went and found a living room to sit in and wait.

IMG_6753.jpg

I love the waiting room of this restaurant. I wouldn’t mind sitting in there all day!!! I really wish I was have been around to live in a house like this, the 50’s really just fascinate me.

IMG_6754.jpg

Before we even really Sat down they were calling our names to be seated that’s why there is all of one picture of where we sat down haha.

Our waiters name was Tommy, he was HILARIOUS (Keirsten and Primo, who you will meet pretty soon actually had him as well when they went a few days after). He gave everyone in the room nicknames Andy and I were Scooter and Angel. I could already tell that this was going to be the best experience that we would have in this restaurant.

We started our by setting the table. Then we were allowed to order. We started out with onion rings because I had seen them all over the disboards and NEEDED to try them.

IMG_6755.jpg

I also got a cherry sprite. The onion rings were delicious and the dipping sauce, I devoured them and it. Ugh so good.

IMG_6758.jpg

Andy wasn’t a fan of the horseradish sauce so he picked at the onion rings. He’s not really a fan of onion rings when you can tell that there are onions in them so basically he ate the batter from the outside.

The waiter teased everyone in the room. At one point during the TV clips they show the opening of Disneyland and it shows Mickey running into the parks with all of the guests and he screamed “Run Mickey!!! They going to get you, watch out!!!” It was so funny. Then he got a big straw(?) and starting poking people in the other rooms.

IMG_6756.jpg

Or soon arrived very quickly I ordered the Chicken Cesar Salad, which I swear, was as big as my head. It was giant!!! But so good. Of course I scarffed down the onion rings so fast that I couldn’t finish it and you know what that means “Choo Choo” or as he had the entire room chant “chew chew chew!!!” It was so embarrassing and funny.

IMG_6759.jpg

Scooter got the pot roast, which he loved and since he didn’t eat any onion rings he finished his whole plate. LAME no embarrassing task for Andy.

IMG_6760.jpg

I was enjoying my food far too much to get any good pictures of the place, I apologize, looks like everyone will just have to go and try it out for themselves!!!

From there we decided to head over to Voyage of the Little Mermaid because when we were there in August it was closed and I was heartbroken. Ariel is my all time favorite.

IMG_6708.jpg

We jumped in line because the next show was starting really soon but wouldn’t you know we missed it by literally 5 people. So we waited the 30-45 minutes for the next one but thumbs up because we were first in line!!! That is until the let all the fastpass people in.

The show was good, Ariel’s voice was interesting I don’t remember it fully but there was something distinct that I wasn’t a fan of. It might have just had to do with the fact that my eyes were really starting to hurt again and I couldn’t keep them open with all the lights and effects.

We stopped by the little gift shop outside but then decided that it was time to head back to the room for a bit because my eyes just we not taking any more light

IMG_6709.jpg

On our way out we got a few more photopass photos with glasses on so that you couldn’t see that sadness that was my eye.

And off we went to take a nice little nap before we stayed out “all night”.

Bye bye Mickey!!! See ya real soon.

IMG_6762.jpg

That Mickey was always my favorite growing up not really sure why but I thought it was so perfect and magical.

We arrived back at the resort in to time and let m tell you I was dragging.

IMG_6764.jpg

We slowly made our way back to NOT TOY STORY aka 101 Dalmations.

IMG_6765.jpg

You can tell I was slowing down because usually I am like 50 feet ahead of Andy and this time he was leading the way.

IMG_6767.jpg

IMG_6766.jpg

IMG_6768.jpg

IMG_6769.jpg

When we finally got back to the room all of our friends were just waiting for us to come and snuggle

IMG_6770.jpg

Obviously I couldn’t say no to those cute guys so we took a nap for a half an hour because the plan was to stay out until park closing, which I believe, was midnight.

Naps are so good. I hate to take them when I am in Disney because I feel like they are a waste of precious time but my eyes really just weren’t having anymore awake time at the moment so I took out my contacts put in some eyes drops and passed out.

Tune In Next Time!!!

Another Late Night. This Time With Friends and Pizza
March 5, 2012

After a quick nap and rest of the red eyes it was time to

WAKE UP!!!

IMG_6771.jpg

I did a quick photo tour of the room. I believe I got more pictures later in the trip when the room was a little neater

IMG_6772.jpg

This is cute and I need one for my house

IMG_6773.jpg

I really liked the old bathrooms before the refurb. I was never in one but from the pictures I’ve seen on here I just thought it was cuter.

IMG_6775.jpg

IMG_6778.jpg

NOT TOY STORY picture

IMG_6779.jpg

New tv’s a and the connecting door to the elephant neighbors.

After that quick photospree we headed back to Hollywood Studios for the night we arrived back at around 6:00.

We went straight to use our rock n’ rollercoaster and tower of terror fast passes from earlier in the day.

Somewhere in there I traded my Vinlymation and I got this guy. Weird, not really sure what he is suppose to be.

IMG_6788.jpg

Must not have liked him much because this is the next photo in my iphotos. Automatic trade haha

IMG_6791.jpg

From there we decided to head over to on of my other favorites. A classic!!!

IMG_6792.jpg

I love love love this horse. Maybe because when I was growing up I was obsessed with Mary Poppins. I haven’t watched it in a while because Andy saw the musical in NYC and hated it so he refuses to watch the movie.

IMG_6794.jpg

The Great Movie Ride is usually Andy’s nap ride but I refused to allow him to sleep this time because we had just slept for a half an hour. If I recall correctly just before the Wizard of Oz part he said something along the lines of “Is this new snce we were here in August” and the answer?: “no it’s amazing what you can see when you stay awake!!!”

We decided to cross yet another thing off my to do list for this trip which lead us in the direction of

IMG_0682.jpg

I love the movie that they show afterwards it literally melts my heart and makes me cry EVERYTIME. I don’t understand how a many can be as perfect as Walt was <3 We had a little time to pass before the show so we strolled around a little bit

IMG_6799.jpg

IMG_6798.jpg

IMG_6797.jpg

We went in and watched the movie there was hardly anyone in there. I wasn’t mad because that meant that I sit and cry in peace.

From there we headed over to watch Muppets 3D we were starting to get a little cold and run down. I remember a lot of walking being involved when we finally decided on getting some snacks.

I got this delicious beauty an M& covered rice crispy treat. Disney crispy treats are literally the best in the world and if you have never tried one I suggest that you do!!! It was so delicious and soft and so filling, I think I ate at most half of it that night.

IMG_6802.jpg

Andy got a sugar cookie Mickey Mouse, he would usually get our beloved nemo/dory cookie but unfortunately they have stopped making those. He did not like this cookie at all, which was sad because I was so cute.

IMG_6803.jpg

While we were purchasing our snack one of the cast members had seen my super red eye and was really worried for me. I honestly forgot that it was so sad I was taken back when he said “what’s wrong with your eye?!” then I remembered I looked like I was shot with a paintball gun or something.

Long story short he asked me if I wanted a glass of hot water to help me with it. He handed me this scolding cup of what which I wasn’t really sure what to do with so I just smiled and said thank you.

This was all that I could think of to do with it… do I steam my eye? Is this right?

IMG_6804.jpg

While we were leaving the store I found this Vinlymation that I had my heart set on finding during the trip (never happened, booo)

IMG_0681.jpg

I am OBSESSED with the 25 years “Remember the Magic” Parade/Song. My family was having their little make shift reunion that year and there are just so many wonderful memories involved with the song and the merchandise.

We took our snack outside, boy was it really cooling down. I was really glad that I had that hot glass of water to hold it really did warm me up. We sad and ate our snacks and listen to the outdoor concert that they had going on.

We wrapped up the rest of my crispy treat and headed to my love ride one more time for the night before the park was going to close.

When we got off there was a max exit and so we started rushing off because we knew that the All Stars are very popular resorts because of their price so there was going to be a CRAZY line at the buses.

Well we were right…

The line snaked our from under the little awning and way further back. To get an idea we were probably 10 or 15 people back from the very end of the little bus stop “hut” and this was the line that was quickly forming behind us.

IMG_6806.jpg

It was freezing and all I wanted was my fuzzy castle throw blanket from the night before and a bed and sleep. Just then, Primo texted me saying that they had arrived and were just headed back to their room from Downtown Disney and wanted us to come over for Pizza. Well… if you insist.

IMG_6808.jpg

Getting closer!!! (photobomb) I think we were on a standing room only bus, the second one to pull up to the stop after about 15 freezing minute.

When we got back to the room I put on pants and my north face and we walked from our room in All-Star Movies to Keirsten and Primo’s room at the All-Start Music Broadway section.

The walk was a lot faster than I thought it was going to be!!! And once we saw where there room was we were really happy that we had paid the extra money for the week for a preferred room. They were like on the back of a building facing nothing.

We sat a chatted with them heard all about their day and how excited they were to be in Disney for the first time in about 11 years. Ugh, I can’t even imagine going without visiting Disney for that long!!!

Before we knew it pizza arrived, it was delicious, and we were making plans for the rest of their stay. Even the pizza box is perfect!!!

IMG_0692.jpg

It got to be pretty late maybe 1:30 or 2:00am and we decided that we had to go back and get some sleep because we had yet another early morning a head of us!!!

Tune In Next Time!!!

I’ve been following along so I thought I’d comment!

I LOVE that coat hanger. They really need to sell it in the gift shops.

Did you like the Mary Poppins musical? My mom just got me tickets for my birthday and I’m really excited to go. I just watched the movie for the first time and I heard the musical was really good!

One Man’s Dream <3<3
Oh my god the movie is just amazing after. It is seriously a crying fest in there.

That rice crispy treat looks incredible. That cookie does too but that stinks that Andy didn’t like it!

Ok, I’m sorry, but that is just weird that the CM gave you a cup of hot water.

I love how that guy is smiling at the camera in one the bus line pics.

THAT PIZZA BOX IS ADORABLE. OMG.

I'm finally all caught up on your trip report! It looks like so much fun :goodvibes Hahaha omg I want to take Preston to Disney SO bad so he can understand it better. He only went once for his senior class trip so he remembers some stuff, but I will teach him EVERYTHING :rotfl: At least he's already into pin trading haha.

I love the real life update too! I'm SO glad I got to be on crew for Little Women so I could sort of be a part of it. You guys had a fabulous cast and everyone was so good! The show was just precious.

And YAYYY for my birthday and banquet and GOING TO DISNEY! What a great life. I'm going to miss you so much next year!! But I have no doubt that you're going to do great things!

Yay!!! I love comments, thanks for reading along :goodvibes !!!

I didn't see the musical Andy and my little sister saw it for a school field trip. Andy disliked it a lot but Sam liked it a lot. Sam said she loved the set and the music. I think that Andy was just turned off by the entire trip he doesn't like NYC so that probably had a lot to do with it. I have heard lots of wonderful things about it so I am sure you will really enjoy it!!!

One man's dream has got to be my second favorite thing in Hollywood Studios (next to Tower of Terror of course ;) )

The hot water thing was SO WEIRD. I'm glad I'm not the only on who thought that!!!

haha photobomb. I have no idea how he knew there was a photo coming.

Ahhhh bring Preston next fall lol I can get you 50% off your room. He would absolutely love Disney if he went with you. I love that he loves pin trading :rotfl:

Everything about Little Women makes me so sad. I'm glad I got to end college on such a high note though <3 And basically the only reason I even decided to price vacations out was because of you and your trip so I should be thanking you!!! haha.

And thank you so much. I have big plans for myself and no idea what I am doing at the same time. I can't wait to see where the next few years take me but one thing is for sure I will definitely be visiting campus tons to see everyone!!!

Disney Crafts and Trip Information Update!!!

Hey everyone we are vastly approaching our departure date. 3 days 2 hours and 36 minutes!!! Ahhhh spur of the moment trip planning is so much fun and so stressful at the same time.

So let me just you a little back story on how this trip came to be. I graduated on the 12th about a week or two before that Bobby (a friend of mine from school who is just finishing up doing College Program now) posted on my facebook wall saying that his family has time share points to use up at Bonnet Creek for a few days and that I should fly down and see him because all I would need to pay for is the flight and he would take care of the rest.

This really got me wanting to visit again. So I sulked around a little because I wasn’t able to go. On the day of graduation I got an envelope in the mail from my school my grandmother said that it was a bill I opened it up and to my surprise it was my last work study pay check, all those hours in the costume shop really paid off!!!

So I just kept saying I’m going to Disney for graduation!!! On May 13th (mothers day) my mother asked me where I wanted to go for my last family vacation before I moved away, of course I said Disney but she wasn’t biting. So just for the heck of she was playing around on southwest.com and found a really great deal for Andy and I to go for just over $300 a person for flight and room she then said “It would be even cheaper if you took your sister with you!!!” So I immediately texted Sam and was like I’m going to Disney want to come with me?!”

Just after that my friend Keirsten (another friend from school who was with me on my March trip) called and said that she needed to see me before she left, she is studying abroad in London this summer and wanted to say goodbye so I went up to Niagara Falls to help her pack and say goodbye before she left for the summer. While there my sister and Andy both texted me asking if I was serious. Obviously I was, I’m not one to joke about Disney!!!

I got home that night and started fake planning with Sam. She really wanted to go but she also wants to visit me in the Fall so that we can go to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. So we started scoping out deals and she asked her friend Brittany if she would like to join us.

We went to sleep super excited and hesitant at the same time. We promised we would wake up early the next morning and discuss it more. I literally couldn’t sleep that night. Ugh it was killing me I just wanted to book it!!! The next morning I woke up and Sam said “go back to sleep, you are going to be sad airline flights went up”

BOOOOOOO. So then my world crumbled a little and I cried as I felt a Disney trip being torn away fro me… But then a light bulb when off in my head, I know a handful of people down there now doing the college program so I reached out to all of them and asked if there was anything they could do to help. A mutual friend of mine and Sam’s said that she would love to help but she is coming home for memorial day so the most she could do was get us 40% off the room but if we knew someone who could check us in we could get 50% off.

We didn’t want the fight prices to go up so we booked those right away. Going down on JetBlue (I have never flown anything but southwest so I am a little nervous for this) and Southwest coming back. We looked and it was actually cheaper to fly out the night before than it was to fly in the following morning and the price difference was equal to that of the room. This was a great deal because we wouldn’t have been getting into the airport until 1 or 2 in the afternoon wasting a whole park day. So we booked the flights and I called Bobby.

Onto Bobby who is literally the reason for this trip he booked us the room that night but he was only able to get us the discount at POP for the second half of our stay. We said book it and we’ll stay at the All Stars for the first half!!! He gave us the total and when we did the math the price was not discounted so to be safe my mother actually went on and booked a second room at regular price for the entire week.

The next day I woke up and decided to do some Disney crafts!!! I love arts and crafts they are literally my favorite thing. A while ago I bought cheap Mickey Ears off eBay because I was thinking about making Andy a pair. Never got around to it so I decided to make myself a pair for the upcoming trip. I went to the dollar store and bought some glue and I had an old headband lying around the house and decided just to play with it

This is what I started with…

IMG_7734.jpg

It was a beautiful sunny day so I decided to work on my tan and glitter the ears outside. I covered the ears with basic tacky glue from JoAnn’s

As9BCa1CIAEC0Pujpg-large.jpg

Then I did a bad thing. I cut up the ears. I felt like a murder when I was doing it. Ugh it broke my heart but they were $3 so I didn’t feel too bad. I cut out the ears leaving just enough felt around the edges and I then used my sewing skills and sewed the ears to the headband. The bow that I used was actually on the headband I just ripped it off and repositioned it. And here is the end result.

IMG_7736.jpg

The purple ones are mine. Sam and her friend Brittany liked them so much she came over the next day and I made them some with the foam ears they had gotten from their cotton candy at Disney on Ice.

Anyways back to trip planning!!! I figured you could use a nice break from reading.

While I was outside enjoying the sun (listening to my beloved tower of terror music loop <3) Bobby had been frantically trying to get a hold of me. Whoops…

He called Disney and was able to get half our stay discounted but the first day or two was blocked off because it was a holiday. He said there were no rooms left for the first two nights of our stay at any of the value resorts or at the moderates, the only two places with availability were Saratoga Springs (two separate rooms each a king size bed) and Animal Kingdom Lodge totaling over $600 a night. I almost lost it I was nervous and ready to puke because we had plane tickets but nowhere to sleep!!! I was beginning to think it was a terrible idea booking the flight that we thought was going to be a great idea. Bobby said worst comes to worst you can all sleep on the floor of my apartment I leave here the day after you so the worst they can do is kick me out.

Then I remember!!! The night before ma booked a room the entire length of our stay!!! What a lifesaver, AHHH I started screaming and told Bobby. He told the cast member he was on the phone with and they were able to morph the two reservations together!!!

All was well again and we were all SO HAPPY!!! A huge thanks to Bobby for working it all out for us!!!

So now the game plan: Bobby has 2 main gate passes left which can each get 3 people into the parks. Which means that we will split the cost of a two day park hopper for one of us and we will do all 4 parks in 2 days!!! Thank goodness Magic Kingdom has 3 am extra Magic hours.

We are staying at All Star Music and we can’t wait to have a full day in Disney where we do outside of the park things. We have major plans that I am going to keep a secret until the trip report.

Two days ago I went out to get the mail and I was saddened because my school’s theatre sends out a newsletter at the end of every semester and there were Little Women pictures all over it. I was suddenly SO SAD, so sad as a matter of fact that I missed out on these beauties

IMG_7737.jpg

Our Disney pins that we ordered from eBay and our Mickey mail!!!

Atb36pxCMAEcy97.jpg

Suddenly, at the sight of the yellow tags, I was feeling the slightest bit better. Although we won’t be able to use the yellow tags because our plan arrives too late in the evening.

Oh well I’M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!! That’s the long story of how the trip came about. Sorry for so much reading. But I can’t wait to get back and share all of the excitement with you!!! Well obviously I'm not in too much of a rush, I would like to enjoy my mini vacation, but you get the idea ;)

I’m so glad the whole trip worked out for you! It would’ve been awful if you had the flight and couldn’t get the hotel.

I love the mouse ear headbands you made. They are so cute!

3 more days! Have a wonderful time!

Me too!!! Ugh for a while there I was terrified.

Thanks!!! The thing I like most about then is they cost maybe $10 at most to make where as the sparkly ones in Disney cost close to $30.

AHHHHHHH SO SOOOOOON :scared1:

Late Start But We'll Make Up For It Later
March 6, 2012

Alarm goes off at 6:45, I take a nice relaxing shower go to wake up Andy, I look briefly at the clock and it’s 7:10…

Wait, what?!? 7:10 no no no. This can’t be right!!! I’m suppose to be at the but stop at 7:00. Pooh bear, I set the alarm for the wrong time. What was my 2 am brain thinking? Let’s sleep in a little? Unacceptable.

So we literally rush to get ready and are out the door within 10 minutes!!! Whoa, whirlwind morning.

I ask we do a final run through of the things we need for the day on our brisk walk to the bus stop. “Andy you got the photo pass card and your trading pins right?” “I thought you got them…”

Quick jog back to the room

IMG_6809.jpg

No time to stop

IMG_6810.jpg

We officially ended up in the line for the bus stop at 7:35 not too bad… No stress in Disney just let it roll off your back.

IMG_6811.jpg

Not sure what this one is all about anymore. Maybe “check out my shoes?”

IMG_6812.jpg

It was beautiful and really sunny, just a slight coldness to the air but nothing unbearable for us Buffalonians!!! And we were headed to

IMG_6813.jpg

Vinylmation ready to be traded away. I think I picked this guy up in the gift shop the night before if I remember correctly.

IMG_6814.jpg

Rockin’ the cute couple t-shirts and ready to have a fun day in “our” park

IMG_6816.jpg

This picture confuses me

IMG_6817.jpg

The clock says 8:08 does that mean the park opens at 9 because my trip journal says that we got there 5 minutes ahead of time? But I do not remember spending that long on a bus EVER.

Oh well let’s disregard that last one, I obviously took it for a reason but I no longer have any idea what that reason was…

We arrived 5 minutes early and we were ready to go!!!

Perfect EPCOT, just as I left it in August with all it’s glorious heart melting music. UGH words cannot describe the love that I have for this park <3

466192_10151346879315507_859095506_22573497_813276449_o.jpg

Beautiful flowers be prepared for the Flower and Garden Festival that was to start the day after we left.

IMG_6818.jpg

Mickey!!!

IMG_6819.jpg

Count of three everyone run to the land to get fastpasses and BREAK!!! Sorry Land sign, no time to stop which means as always blurry picture.

IMG_6821.jpg

Fastpasses in hand

IMG_6823.jpg

we bolted out of the pretty pavilion (see ya real soon)

IMG_6824.jpg

to the other side of the park to get on Test track for possibly the last time in it’s original state. What a face!!!

IMG_6826.jpg

We stopped in mouse gears to get some air and check out on of my favorite stores on property which is where I found this shirt that I HAD TO BUY. Of course I bought the child’s size because it was a good $10 cheaper

IMG_6828.jpg

We headed out and went over for a nice relaxing history lesson I mean spin on Spaceship earth. What an amazing structure!!!

IMG_6829.jpg

I just love EPCOT so much <3

IMG_6830.jpg

Our air conditioned (air conditioning wasn’t as necessary as in august) destination was virtually empty

IMG_6831.jpg

IMG_6832.jpg

I always just choose under the sea because I secretly want to be Ariel

IMG_6836.jpg

After that we meet up with Bobby and headed back over to the Land Pavilion. I felt bad because we had fastpasses for Soarin’ and he didn’t so we said we would just not do it. He ended up being really good friends with a person there and they had extra ones to give out so they just gave him one so he could go with us.

My favorite part about Soarin’ is listening to the seatbelts click when the ride is over. Simple things.

From there we headed over to The Land. Andy has never done it, mainly because everyone in my family except my mother HATES it and thinks it’s a waste of time. Bobby had never done it either, I was surprised after 20+ trips and living there for 4 months how have you not done it yet?! So we hopped in line

IMG_6841.jpg

Hidden Mickey!!!

IMG_6843.jpg

I snapped a picture of the sunflowers for my bestest friend Julie, she owns a flower farm and sunflowers are her ABSOLUTE favorite

IMG_6844.jpg

I LOVE THESE, yet another thing that reminds me of my childhood <3

IMG_6851.jpg

We headed out one more time and right around to corner to a friendly little fish and his friends

Tune In Next Time!!!

I hate forgetting things in the room. Worst. Thing. Ever.

Epcot <3

I love the sorcerer Mickey topiary. So cute!

I am in love with the shirt you got at Mouse Gears. And the little green aliens on the monorail! *dies of awesomeness*

Spaceship Earth, why do you have to be so amazing?

I LOVE hearing the seatbelt clicks on Soarin’. That should go on simpledisneythings.com

OMG you leave for Disney tomorrow! Have a magical time!!!!!

Ahh! I fell behind but i am now all caught up!
great updates as always!!

Hello hello hello everyone!!! I am back from another MAGNIFICANT trip to the happiest place on earth. I was hoping to do an update here much sooner but due to lack of sleep and YOLO I have been under the weather since my return. I think that I have been awake for a total of maybe 10 hours since I returned two days ago. But what a splendid trip it was!!! I can’t wait to get that report underway but I must wait until this one is either further along or finished. BUT I will let you know there was tons of fun to be had, no sleep to be had, tons of food and snacks and over 900 pictures to document the 4 day trip. I can’t wait to share it and I hope you all join me in my upcoming report once it’s finally rolling. For now here is another March trip update, hope you enjoy!!!

America Spread Your Golden Wings
March 6, 2012

On our last leg of this crazy trip we left off in EPCOT headed over towards one friendly little fishy and his friends “in the big blue world”

That’s right you guessed it

IMG_6852.jpg

The line moved rather quickly compared to the long lines in August. I LOVE MARCH IN DISNEY, even though it’s cold there are zero lines. Perfect compromise; since I wasn’t suppose to be getting sun anyways!!!

After a quick swim in the deep blue sea we headed over to Bobby’s place of employment

IMG_6853.jpg

That’s right Bobby’s DCP experience took place switching between Figment and Captain Eo

IMG_6854.jpg

He told us all sorts of inside secrets and introduced us to all of his co-workers. Who needs an expensive tour guide when you have a best friend who is a cast member?!

From there we headed over to do another first for Andy

IMG_6855.jpg

Mission Space!!! We weren’t sure how he was going to handle this one since he use to get sick on a regular plane ride, I didn’t want to pressure him so we said we would get in the easy line and if he wanted to get out we would.

Being the big boy that he is he said “You’ve got to try everything at least once” So we got in line and we were soon in the briefing room.

IMG_6856.jpg

Bobby and I may or may not have gotten a little carried away telling him all the things that the ride entails and all the jobs he was going to have to do lol Andy was getting a little nervous but really excited.

Smile Andy, it won’t be too bad

IMG_6859.jpg

Just as we were about to get on the ride he was really feeling it. The nervous stomach and all but he decided that he would never know if he didn’t try so we went for it

IMG_6860.jpg

And wouldn’t you know, he survived!!! Didn’t get sick but he was in NO RUSH to get back in line right away. Baby steps, I was proud of him for just giving it a try. Who knows maybe one day we will take on the intense side… yea… maybe not.

From there the nice hot Florida sun was making an appearance and you know what that means, my best friend was also due for another round

YAY SUNSCREEN. Just kidding not really. Haha what a face.

IMG_6863.jpg

Passing by the mist but it was too cold of a day to play in there. No thank you maybe next time.

From there we decided to head over to the World Showcase and walk around since it wasn’t going to be a boiling desert over there for once.

On our way we saw the starting up of the Flower and Garden festival. Giraffes, yes please I LOVE THEM!!!

IMG_6867.jpg

Our first step, CANADA. OOOOOOOOO AHHHHHHHHH. I always tend to pass this one by because we live so close to Canada in real life it’s not as “exotic” to us as is it to others.

Totem Poles, my people!!! As my siblings and I would say. Pa (who you may have met if you read my previous trip report) is 100% Native American and was born in Canada. REPRESENT!!!

IMG_6868.jpg

I’m going to be honest with you I have never been in this place during the daylight hours so this was a new experience for me.

IMG_6869.jpg

Hurry Andy, go pose with that Canadian door!!!

IMG_6871.jpg

I love Disney rocks, the are probably one of my favorite things and I’m not even really sure why.

IMG_6872.jpg

It’s basically the view from my old dorms bathroom!!! Haha but really, I could see Canada from my bathroom in college.

IMG_6873.jpg

Yaya photo booths!!! They always make for a good photo opp.

IMG_6874.jpg

After that we wandered back out of Canada and moved on rather quickly because we were in a rush to get to lunch and we had a while to go.

On we went to the UK

IMG_6875.jpg

Shakespeare’s cottage?!

IMG_6876.jpg

France!!! The place where I will be getting married even if I have to wait 12 years.

IMG_6878.jpg

I swear one day I will get a nice picture here. One day…

IMG_6880.jpg

We passed by one of Bobby’s favorites. HE ADORES Sleeping Beauty.

IMG_6881.jpg

Ugh this place is just so perfect <3 One day… you will be the back drop for my wedding ceremony (but really only because you can’t have it in Mexico)

IMG_6882.jpg

We stopped by the America Pavilion to take a picture of Bobby with Lotso

IMG_6884.jpg

And then we did one of my FAVORITE things, the American Adventure!!! Yay, in high school I was HUGE on American history and I remember right after I took my huge junior year history exam we came down and I loved the show because I remembered everything from class. What a nerd I am

Needless to say I was really the only one who was exited for it.

IMG_6885.jpg

Little tid bit for you both Andy and Bobby had never seen this before. Shame shame. How distinctly unpatriotic BUT Bobby did tell me how he has been to see the show at least 10 times since I forced him to go see it. He says anytime he goes by it and some has never done it he always makes them go watch it. Spreading the American Adventure love. Get it.

So I guess that make the pervious picture turn to this

IMG_6886.jpg

And so we waited for the American Adventure to begin…

Tune In Next Time!!!

You’re back! I’m so glad you had a great trip and I can’t wait to read the TR! But it’s too bad you have been under the weather. Coming home and getting sick is so not fun. :(

I would love to go to WDW during the off-seasons. No lines, not boiling hot, ahhhh, it would be perfect.

Yay! Andy survived Mission Space!

The giraffe topiaries are amazing. Oh my God.

I don’t think we have ever actually have gone to the American Adventure. I know, I am very unpatriotic.
