Question.....

Why is Quebec excluded?
DH is not home to ask!

And I guess it isn't open to Americans. (See it happens to both coutries.)

I heard something about this on the radio today. It's funny, but if you go to some parts of FLA. you'd swear you're in Canada, there are so many Canadians. I was in Hollywood, Florida a few years ago. A lot of the signs were in French. When I asked I was told because of all the French snowbirds.

I read Quebec is excluded from a lot of contests because the body that governs contests charges a tax or fee based on the value of the prize. I think it was something like 10% and the contest organizers have to make an application before running the contest.

Do you remember a few years back when Canada was trying to get the Turks and Caicos to join them? Whatever became of that?

DH grew up in Hollywood FLA, as a canadian too. His parents moved there when he was 2 with his grandparents and aunts too. There whole neighbourhood was mostly CND.
