WOW...you were update happy yesterday and I love it!! You guys had a very relaxing and wonderful day with Henry. Don't you just love being able to take your time and just enjoy Disney and the small things it has to offer!
I haven't eaten at Earl's but after your pictures I think I just might have to sometime!!
Ya, taking our time and wandering around was really nice and relaxing - there is fun found in the parks obviously, but it can be just as much fun resort hopping and exploring!
You gotta try Earls, yummmmm! And it's only $5.95 for a sandwich, pretty cheap!
Thanks for the great pictures of SSE Brooke - we've never really explored it. We started to on the last trip, but well, you know how that went over
I LOVE the beignets at POFQ...we always used to stay there before DVC and even on our last trip I made DH take me over there for them.
Ya, that stinks

We were sick on vacation last time, but not so much where we had to stay in bed.
Okay, December, gotta get me some beignets!

Hello there.... I am a long time reader (I read your last trip report, it was GREAT!) and a new poster!
I am loving this TR as much as the last one.... and I will repeat what everyone else has said... Your pictures are GREAT!!
Your little guy is adorable.... I love the pics of him with the light up spinny toy... he looks entranced! Too cute!
Oh... about his getting sick.... my middle DD use to get sick every week or so, from milk intolerance when she was Henry's age. She was not allergic, or completely lactose intolerant.... her body just couldn't process the milk products as fast as she was ingesting them, she was overloading her system. She would drink several cups of milk a day, plus loved cheese, yogurt, etc... We took her off of milk (she drank a dairy free milk substitue called Vitamite) and she was GREAT! We re-introduced regular milk a few years later (when she was about 4), and she did fine with it. She also has acid reflux...(was born with it) so she would still vomit occasionally (about once a month or so) until we got her on meds for that. She NEVER pukes now.... she is 12 and has been doing great for years on Prevacid. Just a few things to look into if Henry keeps having issues with vomiting.... and since he doesn't seem sick (Jess never did either... she would puke, then continue on like nothing happened)... it made me think of Jess's problems!
Well hello! So glad you posted! Thank you for reading, I am very happy to hear you have enjoyed the reports.

And thank you for the compliment on Henry-and on our pictures.
That is very interesting about your daughter - these episodes after milk/milk products have never happened to Henry before, but you commented about how your daughter's system was overloaded with dairy-it couldn't process anymore...that is interesting - I wonder if that is what was happening with Henry. Hmmmm....
HI Brook!!
Earl's looks awesome!! I need to try that one

It's going on my ever growing list
I love love love the SSR pics! Keep em coming
I know that I loved EE at night... It was amazing! Not that it isn't wonderful during the daytime... but night riding was just WOW!! I hope that you go the chance to ride it... i'm looking forward to hearing what U thought!
It's too crummy that it was soooo cold for you on this trip! Jan/Feb are so wierd in Florida... you never know what to expect. We went the 1st week of Feb last year... it was tanks/sandals/swimming every day
Paula
Ahhh! It was your TR! I got your TR mixed up with Christine's. My memory stinks!
Earl's is superuber tasty - I've only ever read one negative review that someone didn't like the bread.
More SSR pics are coming up! I even have video of our room(s), but they are HUGE, so I haven't uploaded them anywhere yet. If I do I will post a link!
I remember looking at the weather just a couple weeks before we went and it was in the 80s the entire time. But, our weather does improve! (thankfully!)
Don't forget that besides being a DVC member your are also an AP holder which means AP discounts are available for you...
Oh you are such an enabler! I LOVE IT!
what a great update!
i love how you can be so carefree on where you go and how long you stay and not rush around!! ahhhh... the advantages of DVC and being able to return soon!!
i have to make a note in my disney "notes" book about going to POFQ and the beignets... and of course EoS... we went there in Sept for the first time.. will def be going back and your pics just made me want it NOW!!
and of course... love all the pics...
It really is wonderful to not rush and just take things as they come rather than rushing to and through the parks - though, that can be fun sometimes too. I like being able to say "we rode everything in Tomorrowland!" or nailing all our "must rides". But, Joe MUCH MUCH prefers the slower trips, so we did a bit of both!
And even if we miss those "must rides" it still is a relief knowing we'll be back!
I know what you mean about wanting Earl now - I crave Disney food, Earl included often. The Food Pictures thread doesn't help with that craving, yet I find myself gazing at it often...
Yeah another trip report. I spent the morning reading it. I love your trip reports. I mostly just lurk but wanted to say thanks for taking the time. Henry is getting so big. WOW !!! I cant wait to hear the rest. Sooo fun!!
Thanks for reading! It really is fun to re-live it with you all. And yes!

Henry is getting so big, so fast! He has changed a lot since November, hasn't he? It's exciting and sad!
I love your updates! I would love to do the GF tea someday! It sounds/looks heavenly. Its so hard to take little ones
maybe when they get older.
It was great that you got your room at SSR so quickly. We didn't get our room till 7 or so. I was frustrated because I thought they were suppose to let you into your room by 4:00. I had planned my night around it. We got our groceries and didn't have a refrigerator to put them in. It doesn't seem fair that you have to check out by a certain time but they don't need to have your room ready at any particular time.
SSR is a big resort. When we stayed there in November we didn't get the area we requested and ended up having to walk a long way to get to the pools and restaurant. The walk was beautiful though so I can't complain.
It is great to be so carefree being a DVC member. We are looking forward to that on our next trip!
I just love your siggy pics, I know I've said that before, but they truly capture the excitement of your children - just beautiful!!
That is CRAZY about your room not being ready until 7! What is up with that?! I thought they were supposed to be ready by 4 pm at the latest! 7 is just wrong! Did they apologize? Bell Services kept your food cold, right? I'm so sorry your plans were sent out the window because of that, I would have been really upset too. Plus you have little ones...

I really hope you got an apology at least!
Do you remember what area you ended up in? The Carousel and Paddock looked REALLY far away across the bridge, that would have been even a bigger haul than what we had I think.
Your next trip is right around the corner - YAY!
Great updates. I don't know how I missed them! SSR looks like a great resort. You are selling me on it!!
H's blase reaction to the castle cracks me up.
LOVE the new AP's. Now I want a new one too!
That $15 Mickey light up toy is quite a find. I almost want one!
I had the club at EoS too! Yummy!!!
Oh, BTW, wasn't me who told you about EE at night. I'm a BIG chicken!
SSR really was very pretty, quiet and relaxing. I enjoyed the rooms too. The only things I didn't like were the limited CS choices and how huge it was. But, the walk to DTD was awesome!
I really like the $15 light up toy too - Joe and I certainly had our fair share playing with it too....
I realized it was Paula who wrote about EE on her TR - I totally got the TRs mixed up -my memory isn't so good!
Hi Brook! I am still getting caught up on your TR but it is a great start! I am glad you made it to the tea and your adventure to it sounds just like mine with DH in Oct. We waited for a bus forever and then it finally showed up and had the whole change of shift at PI. I thought I was going to lose it b/c we were going to be late...we showed up right on time! Then the most ironic part is that you guys sat at the same table as me and DH!!! Hopefully you can do it again sometime with Henry in a better mood.
I will have to get caught up on the rest of the trip but looks like you were having a great time!
Oh can I PM you information about the grocery delivery? I have a friend going there in April and I am helping her plan her trip and told her about this and that I would find out more info on it. Let me know! TIA.
Don't you just hate that stress about possibly not making an ADR?

That is funny that you and your DH were at the same table! I really liked that spot, right by the window for a nice view, plus we could see the entire tea room, and one of the seats was on the couch - super comfy!
Yep, feel free to PM me - or just go ahead and ask any questions here. I really liked our grocery delivery both times (we also had it in November), but two different services. Each had their benefits, depending on what you need.
Whoa! So many updates! I love it!!!!
It's so nice that you are taking things slow and just exploring. And Henry is such a blessing to be such a good boy!
He really is a good boy! Now that he's a bit older and he understands things more, but is still limited on what he can physically do, he does get frustrated (and everyone knows it with those screams!), but I can understand why!
