We left Nassau at 7pm, not 11pm on the 4-night Wonder

I had heard that the 3 night was changing their time that they leave Nassau. I wasn't aware that the 4 day was changing times as well. Our docs said that we would be in Nassau until 11pm, but on that day, there were announcements that said to be back to the ship by 6 or 6:30 (can't remember). I don't know if this is permanent or not, but I thought that people should know.

I pray that is going to happen when we go in May... I think they stay to long in Nasaau...

What I do in Nassau is just pretend its a day at sea, don't even bother with getting off the ship, I will pretend it doesn't exist LOL!

Isn't that so that they can shoot off the fireworks for pirate night? Of maybe they are getting into the new schedule a little early.

My docs say depart Nassau 7pm, this is for the 4 day Wonder 2/27/05

I'll let you know when I get there!!

Sailed on the 01/23/05 Wonder and we did not leave Nassau until 11:00. The Pirate Party was going on and the Disney Horns sounded and we continued to sing and dance while sailing away! Hope you get to stay until later and experience the same thing.

Oh I hope they start to leave early so they can shoot off the fireworkds on the Wonder too, it was so cool seeing the fireworks at sea on the Magic.

I wouldn't be caught dead in Nassau after it got dark anyway!

I read just recently on the Board that the 4 night Wonder was not doing the fireworks on Pirate Night yet and were not expecting to do it until some time in May. Can anyone tell me if this is correct?

We were on the Wonder last week. DCL had just changed the departure time from Nassau. DCL reps and DCL online still showed 11:00 as departure time. We booked Blue Lagoon Dolphin SWim and were scheduled to be back at the Paradise Island Ferry at 6:30 which left us very little time to get back to the Wonder. Long story short. Capt. John agreed to wait for us to get back on board so long as we came right back to the Wonder. He agreed to this because some Guest Services people onboard the Wonder were just be notified of the change (stateroom tv still showed 11:00 pm departure). We were told that they changed the departure time for the safety of the CMs who were jumping from various locations during the Pirate Party (don't want to give away too much). It had something to do with the wind direction and the direction the CMs were jumping. pirate:

Sorry no fireworks as of last week. :sad2:

Bumping this one up - I'd like to know when they plan on doing the fireworks but I heard it was to be by March so I'm hoping they start them before my cruise :confused3
