I know I should be happy to be in the world, but all the planning has fallen onto me as usual the trip is last minute because of dh work schedule. I feel I did the best I could but its not working out well. Well this is the happy dance threads right? I wish I could be that way but the latest um, glitch is I got the last southwest A boarding pass and now the rest of the family all has B's so the chances of us sitting together are about slim to none. I like us all to sit together, talk about the plans and trip etc. Oh well, thats out the door now, our regular limo guy is not working any more, got all ts lunches because nothing was available for dinner at the places we wanted, have to switch hotels near the end of the trip because our hotel is sold out etc. etc. I hope we have a good time and I will write a little trip report when we get back. Might meet another diser so hope that works out. Well we are going to the cp and mvmcp so that should be fun.

Hey, girl, cheer up! It sounds like you are just having a black moment.... I just took SWA and there are plenty of seats left for the Bs. Just grab a seat, wait for them to get on and go with them to the seats that are left - you can all be together then. And think about the TS lunches as a nice way to take a mid-day break with a nice long leisurely lunch. In the evening when you want to see the parades and shows and stuff, you can grab CS and be all relaxed to get the most out of the evening!!! And if you are a disser , you like planning! Tomorrow in the happiest place on earth! YOu will feel great and I know you can enjoy trying out a new schedule. Pixie dust!!!

Don't get all bummed out! Your about to go to the happiest place on earth! As for SW you won't be sitting all over the place. If you are in the end of A and the beginning of B it should be OK. As for getting ready, while I love this part of the process ( I know that's wierd) consider it a means to an end. Get a cup of tea and make a list of those things you need to do. Hopefully you will have a sense of accomplishment as you cross off each thing. Remember, you can only do your best, if the rest of the family takes issue because you forgot something, if it were that important they would have done it themselves. I always tell my husband I do the best I can if I forget something I certainly didn't do it on purpose. He's never complained, he appreciates the fact that he doesn't have to do it himself. Enjoy yourself you will have a great time.

Cheer up, luvmarypoppins! You are NOT alone in this boat. We leave on Wednesday, and I'm packing, checking off lists, and making more lists at this point. We can't do our boarding passes until tomorrow, and we have 7 traveling together. My expectations are low - just hoping that we can have at least one adult with the DDs (13 & 11) in the event of emergency.

Deep breath, and remember that you're going to the most magical place there is. And the weather is going to be great!:santa:

Oh, I do hope I don't go through that feeling! I have only 12 days left and I'm very excited!
You'll feel better when your on your way!!!

Let me assure you that once your flight leaves the ground, the reality of being on vacation will set in. I am also fairly sure that if you ask a solo traveler siting in or next to a row where you family nicely, you might just find yourself where you wanted to be from day one.

So long as you get there; that's the priority!!

I have to agree with Amery....there are more good people out there than we realize. Be positive and positive things will happen on your trip. And as for the supper/dinners being full, I feel like I have to mention this since no one really discusses it on here. Until last year I've NEVER made a ADR for supper/dinner. I've eaten at over a dozen table service restaurants at Disney without reservations and without having to wait for hours at a time. I did ADR's last year but on the nights we didn't have any...I still went to the restaurant we wanted and we still ate. We were never turned away or had to wait longer than 45 minutes. To me that ain't too bad.
Regardless ...Good Luck and have a Super TRIP!!!!!! Things will go well...come on its DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!:wizard:

We went on a last minute trip last year - stayed in a new resort and did everything totally different - it was a fabulous trip! It felt like the 1st time we went to Disney with everything new! You never know - you may really like TS lunches. That will leave you with more evening time to enjoy the tree lightings, etc. Relax and enjoy!!

luv the magic-
You have no idea how your little ADR story has made me feel so much better!! I keep second guessing my reservations and then decide I would rather do a different restaurant and your advice makes me feel like it will all work out! :) Big sigh of relief! I always assumed that if you didn't have an ADR- you couldn't get into the restaurant! Thanks!:thumbsup2
