We Leave In One Week, and I'm Sick

I have bronchitis Yuck. The good thing is that I'm on an antibiotic and got it BEFORE we went down instead of WHEN we are down there. But, I sure hope I'm better before we leave.

I just finished up my second round of antibiotics for a sinus and ear infection. I am finally feeling better after dealing with a cold and the above for close to 4 weeks. I just couldn't shake it.

Sorry about your illness.

I suffered a pulmonary embolism October 1st and stayed in the hospital for 5 days. A week or so later I started to have a terrible cold than turned into bacterial pneumonia (caught at hospital?).

We leave in two days! I'm feeling much better, but I'm worried about my stamina.

The plenty of fluids haven't been a problem. It's drink or cough up a lung. Sleep on the other hand is an issue. I think I got 2 hours of sleep last night.

Nicole, did you try lots of pillows so you are more reclining than laying down? This helped me when I had bronchitis in the past.

I'll have to give that a try. But, the coughing isn't really the issue, I think it's the steroids they have me on. DH kicked me and woke me up last night around midnight, and I just never got back to sleep really well.

Sorry you are still feeling poorly. Is there perhaps a guest room that you could occupy for a few days to get some uninterrupted rest and where you could prop up pillows to make it easier to breath? Tell DH you're not mad at him, but you need some Zzzz Zzzzz Zzzz!
