8 days away!! Well I am really getting excited! I am hoping nothing happens in the next week to mess up the trip.. I think we all get these feelings as the trip comes close. I mean, no illnesses or hurting ourselves and such. It amazes me that we even get to be on these trips... I mean, being healthy- to walk the parks and everything health brings us... having the money to afford the trips... I just don't take it for granted and I feel blessed when we are allowed such times.

I have checked our ADR's and all is in order. I have also found out of a new way the free diding plan will work... it is said that...

"DDP Trade-In Offer August 13 - October 7

In a bit of an odd revision to the Disney Dining Plan, guests may trade in their Table Service meal for a counter service meal during the period of August 13 - October 7, 2006, and in exchange for doing so, will ALSO get 2 vouchers for DDP snack options OR a disney trading pin and lanyard OR a Where Magic Lives poster. The snacks can be redeemed anywhere, but must be redeemed at the same time. The lanyard will be from a specified merchandise location. "

This is great for us. We may can some of the ADR's and do this... we aren't big on HAVING a schedule LOL!

MissMissy, Just finished reading your TR and realized that you will be in the World, at the same time as we are! We will be there the 22 thru 29 at PORQ. We will be flying down from Rochester, New York. There are 6 of us. My DGD, her friend, her friend's mother, sister and brother! They are all new to the Disney Magic and it has been a comedy of sorts planning this trip. I have made most of the decisions with just a little input from them.
I am a list maker and so I have had my packing list for quite some time but then here last week, national security changed the list so I have re-packed 3 times!!!! Hopefully, for the last time! DGD has not even started to pack and I have been nudging her a little each day, but she says we aren't leaving till Monday, so she will pack then!!! THAT she did NOT get from living with ME!!!
Today I cashed in all the change that I have been saving for the past year and got the travelers cheques. Now just have to keep "nudging DGD" and get the house cleaned up. Hate to come home to a messy house!!! Also having a Disney dinner for all the travelers on Sunday nite.
So, if you see a lady with a lime green cooler with a black Mickey shape that's me!!!! Say Hi!!!!!

Well it is 230am and I am heading to bed! I am disappointed that I am not packed or even started that officail packing list I just have no time to get this done. I have hair appts tomorrow and them work. Saturday I have my 4 neices and nephews for a sleep over and I will not have time to do anything. Sunday I should be able to get something done. Yikes time is moving too fast! It is 5 days away and I am like ahhhhhhhhhhhhh stop time for a day please! I do have the day before my trip off, so I should be able to recover ok.

DD is excited but I think I am more so. I call her from work and say "oh just a reminder that we are going to Disney in X days" she says "YAY"!

I am soo tired and my head is spinning, so I can't even finish this now. Will try again tomorrow.

Well I am writing again... but must say I am a bit bummed that I keep talking to myself. I guess I am just not a writer

UPDATE:

Well I finally have packing piles started and lists too! A to do list, a to buy list and a pack list.

I also designed my Jack Sparrow tee shirt and love how it came out. It is a spoof on his character I will post it when i have time. I still have to buy 2 tank tops and iron them on.

I have to work tomorrow night and then I am done until Sept 5th!!!! I don't know what is better, two weeks off from there or WDW lol !! I am burned out there for sure.

When we get back school starts 5 days later. DD can't wait so that is all good.

Well I have 40 minutes left of work and then I am off until Sept 5th That gives me 4 extra days AFTER I get back to unwind!

We are sooo pumped to go! We had a scare this am becuase DD's belly ached. Not sure what is was, but pepto dod the trick Too close for comfort LOL.

I ran out today to get stuff done, stamps, get change for tips, return library book and picked up a couple tanks so we can make our tees tomorrow! The Jack Sparrow tee design came out pretty cool.

I have my lists and am hitting Walmart tonight. Tomorrow is clean and pack. We leave at 4:45AM on the 23rd!!!

I am sooo I just can't take it!

I love the tank tops! I hope you have a wonderful time! My daughter and I are headed for our third annual mom/daughter long weekend this December. I can't think of a more special time for us together (she is 7 and has two teenage brothers so she needs some alone time with mom).

Ok we are on our way We are leaving in less than a half hr. I didn't sleep at all. I tried but I was like a kid on Christmas Eve LOL! DD had a hard time falling asleep, but she did get 4 hrs.
