I asked to revise my ressie for AKL to say "Non People holding pen View" ,...and the castmember was quite puzzled. LOL!

The DIS keeps us more informed than we realize.:)

Are the people holding pens in any view? I'm assuming they could only be in savannah view rooms?

Maybe I should also note on my request "non people holding view".

I'm always informing CRO CM's of what's going on at Disney Resorts. They seem to be clueless about remodeling/renovations, etc. Maybe Disney should force all CM's to hang out here and learn a few things! LOL ;)

Pollyanna,
There was a post on the WL faq's from a cm that worked in the resort and apparently CRO is not even in Disney world, it is another part of the state (I forget where) so that could explain why they do not have all the info on the goings on at the resorts themselves.

I work at a large Insurance company with 1000's of employees - kinda like Disney. I have to admit - if it is not an issue that directly involves the 30 some people in the department I work in I have no idea of the details of every project going on in this company.

Just like the CRO CMs - I know what management decides I need to know. It is unfair to expect the CRO CMs to know everytrhing going on at WDW.

I agree with you somewhat... but when it comes to the resorts they should be aware of any and all renovations taking place. None of the CM's I spoke with knew about the YC renovations, and I also had the same experience last year when they didn't know about the GF courtyard pool being refurbished.

I also agree that they should, but it is not thier fault. They only know what management has informed them about. I just wish they were better informed...

The funny thing is they *do* have a list on their computers that lists renovations and refurbishments, but it never seems to be complete or up to date. They should appoint someone to be in charge of keeping that list current... heck, maybe I should apply? ;)
