Ok I am sitting at work trying not to cry. 
(I really don't like it when people cry at work) We are short-staffed, and one (ahem) woman has just called in sick. She doesn't like the person she was scheduled to work with and does this on a regular basis. I am supposed to be done in a few hours and go home, catch a little sleep and pack. Then pick my daughter up from school and surprise her with her first WDW trip. We are driving to the city we fly out of tonight b/c our flight leaves very early in the morning.
I know this is not directed at me but grow up!
I can't leave work unless someone relieves me. My only hope is a part time worker who also holds another part time position in this building. She is expected at that job today. I don't know if I can hope for her to come in. I have paged her. My co-worker even let me have extended breaks tonight so I could rest up a bit.
Okay. Nothing solved but yet I feel better...DH is working from home today to help out - I just have to hope that he doesn't get busy with work & can do lots. It will work out - it has to - just a little magic is all I need!
