We invite you, if you dare ……… Summer plans 08/04 Day 25

That breakfast pizza looks so good. It is definitely on my food bucket list.

I think I am going to have to get that send-off drink just so I can have the glass. I am so looking forward to my first dream cruise which is now down to 9 1/2 months! :cool1:

Love all your pics!

Here we go again. I check your update and you are making me drool over hte food...and I've not had anything to eat yet today. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

It all looks so lovely.

I'm with Kathy! All of the great food pictures and I am starving over here!!

Great line-up, Karin! Makes me miss the Dream so much :)

Oh, that clipart is Sooo pretty!! Tom certainly is talented!

Karin, your pictures are so inviting! I always love the photos you post from your veranda too - that would be my dream stateroom, with a veranda, but wow, those prices!!! I fear I'd feel cooped up in an inside stateroom, but realistically, a veranda just might not be affordable.

I never use a TA, but know at least two who are Disney Cruise Specialists - though I am sure they've not done as many as you and Tom! :) Maybe I will send an email today if I have a few free minutes. ;)

I am glad you like Tom's new trip logos, Christine! He is very good when it comes to create something on the computer. :thumbsup2

Yes, the veranda rooms are pretty expensive. But I have to tell you that the inside rooms are not all that bad. I think they are nearly the same size as the regular staterooms - and keep in mind, the fare is all you need for 4 nights - all your food is included! We were taken a bit aback ourselves when we first saw the prices, but if you consider in what you would normally spend on food than it makes more sense.

Let me know what your TA friends say, once you get to talk to them. :thumbsup2

You can tell that this isn't your first time planning :rotfl2: Everything sounds great!

Hm, I wonder what gave it away? :scratchin :rotfl2:

But that's what you do on a cruise ......... EAT!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2:

Any idea when you will be back on the DREAM? My excitement grows every day. :thumbsup2

Those food pics are making me hungry! :)

The food is as good as it looks! And ..... hm, it makes me hungry too! :lmao:

That is a lovely sounding embarkation day! Relaxed, nice pace but lots done. perfect!

Hi Karin, love your PTR so far. A cruise is just what I would love to do right now. Sounds like you have some great DisMeets planned too.

Christine is coming around !!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:Karin I didn't realise you could have a buffet at Enchanted gardens, do any of the restaurants have a sit down breakfast!! I loved them on my last cruise and often was the only one of the 10 of us who went !!I just enjoyed being served .
Now for some questions, when you arrive at Port Canaeveral with your luggage what do you do with it till your room is ready ????Can you request a certain rotation for dinner , with it being 4 nights and 3 restaurants I wondered how that works ??Are tips included in price or can they be( this one is more for P&P cruise in May) That's all for now , more will follow:rotfl2:

Oops almost forgot wonderful update!!!

Man! I forgot I wanted to try that breakfast pizza!!! :scrachin now I have to think of when I can fit that in. ;)

looks like a nice day... pretty low key. :thumbsup2

Okay, just a little trip update ........... guess, replies will have to wait!

I just had to cancel Pop Century for our first night!

So I canceled Pop Century .......

how come?

Well, they did it again! They changed park hours again. :rolleyes1

Yesterday was my day off and I was planning some itineraries for our park days when it dawned on me that I hadn't checked park hours since before Christmas. Needless to say, as every year, they changed park hours and MK is now open until 1am on our arrival day. Since our park time is already limited, due to 4 days spent on the Disney DREAM, this definitely peaked my interest.
Now, Pop Century is not really close to the MK and we would either have to use the bus :faint: or drive and park at the Ticket and Transportation Center after an already long travel day, to take advantage of the long hours.
I started searching for other optional hotels. Poly $700 - thanks, but NO thanks, Contemporary completely booked, Bay Lake Tower completely booked, GF - too expensive. :rolleyes2

I was giving up. Hm, but we could try and check DVC. NOTHING available. So over a late lunch Tom and I discussed our options and when we could not come up with a decent solution, I tried DVC again.
Why not try a waitlist?
So I waitlisted a studio at BLT. And guess what .......

WAITLISTED IT YESTERDAY AND IT CAME THROUGH TODAY!!!!!!!!!

So instead of staying at Pop we are staying at BLT

and will just stroll over to the MK after check in and play until they close!
Now this vacation could not start any better!!!!!

BTW - Jeanette and Christine, are you proud of me now? May I join the resort changer club? :rotfl2:

The continuing saga of the resort changers. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Glad your waitlist came through.

Wow, that is an awesome update from Pop to BLT!

Jill in CO

WOOHOO!! Can I be absolutely thrilled for you and a tad jealous as well?!?:goodvibes. this is fantastic news!

Karin, you will always be an honorary member of the RC Club, but given the updates we sometimes receive which include a resort change, I think you are official!::yes:: Yes, very proud!:rotfl2:

I sent a request to two Disney Cruise Specialists I know - heard back from one and she will get back to me soon. Have not heard from the other yet, but she could be on a cruise. :) AND I have spent my lunch time this afternoon perusing the DIS stateroom reviews of the Dream - a little overwhelming.....but I am serious about trying this cruise because I know I would feel comfortable with three dear friends.:goodvibes. So, are you proud of me?! :cool1:

Heard back from the other TA - DCL site is down, but she will get back to me soon.:thumbsup2

Okay, she got back to with prices. :faint:

Well, after reading through the DCL site, it is so easy to do without a TA!

Wow Karin, what great news to get BLT instead of PoP.

I wish I could have talked Bob into DVC, after paying for the last two trips, plus the one the upcoming one, I could have DVC paid for!
