We invite you, if you dare ……… Summer plans 08/04 Day 25

You've never made it to a movie????

WOW! I'm surprised by that. It is a lovely mid day or late evening option for us.

I haven't seen Aladdin yet, anywhere but definitely plan to at DCA in April if all goes according to plan!

Day 6, August 12

Another Day at Sea

I guess we will sleep in a little and around 8am we will go and have breakfast at the Royal Court.

After breakfast we will check out the shops and walk around the ship for a while. I guess we will even have time to do the Midship detective agency

IMG_1479.JPG

before it will be time to dress up for lunch at Remy.

Lunch will take around 2 hours, then we will return to our stateroom to change into something more comfortable.
If we are up to it we will head to the D-Lounge to watch an “Anyone can cook” presentation or do a "tasting".

IMG_1607.JPG

I am sure after that we will need some down time and before we head to tonight’s show we will get some nice coffee creation and a few sweets. Around 6pm we will head down to the Walt Disney Theater to find some good seats to watch “Wishes”.

Once it is over we will stroll along deck 4 if the weather permits and then head to dinner at our assigned restaurant.

Again, I guess that after dinner we will be tired and will either sit up on deck 12 for a while or on our balcony (more likely) until we call it a day and head to bed.

No, in 10 cruises we never made it to the movies. :rotfl2:
Every cruise I say, but this time we will see one ....... hasn't happened yet. I also would love to see a funnelvision movie once - again, hasn't happened yet.

You NEED to see Aladdin when you go to DCA - it's awesome. :thumbsup2

It looks like most of our cruise life revolves around food. :rotfl2: There ARE things we do inbetween, but it is sometimes hard to remember them. :lmao:

Rosie, I am trying to branch out ..... but there is a huge chance I might cave in and order the Eggs Benedict instead. :rotfl2:
We really want to make it to a movie once and with having several sea days it might even be doable.
I really want to watch a funnel vision movie at night too, never made it to that either - we are always FAR too tired for it. ;)

Day 7, August 13

St. Maarten

Today we will need to get up pretty early.
We are signed up for a tour and need to get some breakfast before we leave. I guess we will head to the Enchanted Garden for breakfast

IMG_1265.JPG

before we pick up our tickets for the tour. We will then meet in one of the lounges and then get to dry land. We will then enjoy the “Under two flags” tour until around midday

and depending on how long tendering takes or if we have to tender at all we will either have a quick lunch in St. Maarten or go back to the ship for lunch.
We intend to look around St. Maarten on our own as well. Once it is time to leave, we will watch the ship pull away from the top deck or maybe our veranda if the view is okay.
And I guess it will soon be time to head to Palo for dinner.

This one is on Disney. It certainly pays to be a Platinum Castaway Member.
After dinner we will head back to our stateroom, change into something more comfortable and chill for a while until it is time for the pirates fireworks,

which we will watch from Deck 12. And after the fireworks we will quickly stop by the pirate buffet, pick up a few nibbles

IMG_7109.JPG

and head back to our stateroom to sit on the veranda to enjoy them before we go to bed.

St. Maarten looks like a beautiful place! The tour will be a guided tour of St. Maarten?

Dinner looks yummy!

PhewI spied Eggs Benedict!!!:rotfl2:Sounds like another wonderful Day!!!!

Yes, you did! :rotfl2: I knew you would! :lmao:
We are so excited, these are all new destinations for us! :goodvibes

Yes, we booked the guided tour with DCL. These are all new destinations for us and even though we have read reports that you can do it on your own, we always want an "overview" as given in a guided tour first. ;)
I am sure we will venture out on our own after the tour (it ends at 11.30am).

Sounds like a great day planned. I heard St. Maarten is a beautiful place.

Thank you, Elaine!
The more I look into it now, the more I like the destinations. St Maarten looks like a very beautiful island.
Fun fact - the French side seems to accept Euros (according to my research), so that should be EASY for us! :thumbsup2

Day 8, August 14

St. Thomas

Again, we are going to have to rise early as we have another excursion booked. I guess we most likely will head to the Enchanted Garden for breakfast again,

klein_505.jpg

then head back for the biological break and to pick up our tickets, before we head to our meeting place for the excursion.
Today we will be on the Best of St. Thomas Island Tour and Shopping, which should start at 8.15. We will be taken for a bus ride around the island and then left to do some shopping.

By 11.15 the tour should be over and we will head towards the Skyride to Paradise Point to go up in a cable car to admire the view.

Depending on the time we will spend there, we will then either head to Cabanas for lunch

IMG_1208.JPG

or order room service.
In the afternoon we will chill for a while and watch the ship pull out of St. Thomas, before we will head out to deliver the second part of the FE gifts.

And while the first dinner seating is in place and the Magic show is on we will head to deck 11 to take a dip in the adult pool or ride the Aquaduck.

Soon it will be time to get ready for dinner at the rotation restaurant. Today we will have the Prince and Princess menu.

After dinner we might pop into one of the bars

I was a bit shocked that it was available to book, when my window opened today. Now to wait another 4 days and then "what to book" for the last two nights. It looks like BLT will be a no go, so we are discussing options. ;)
