We invite you, if you dare ……… Summer plans 08/04 Day 25

Wow! You did great! Glad you got your favorite cabana!

Jill in CO

Thank you! I was so excited to get everything and have a lot of times to choose from for the ADRs. :goodvibes
Before we turned Platinum CC members there would often only be certain times left, but this time I got exactly what I wanted ...... including Cabana 19 :woohoo:

:cool1: Glad you got everything you wanted...including your favorite cabana!!!

:scared1: that they went so quickly!!!

Thank you, Ann! :goodvibes
It was scary to see how fast the Cabanas were booked. I mean, it did take me about 1 minute to book it and more than half of them were gone by then. I checked today and Cabana 20 is still available, everything else is gone. :scared1:

YAY! That is so exciting, I can't wait to read about the Remy brunch in particular.

What a wonderful last day.

Thank you, Cynthia!
We did the champagne lunch at Remy last summer too and enjoyed it more than dinner. More relaxed when it comes to dress code and less food (she says, knowing full well, that she went to have dinner at Remy twice last summer :rotfl2: - but we had a good reason to do so, and all will be revealed in my summer trip report pretty soon. :goodvibes

:yay: For getting everything you wanted! Imagine being all checked in already - that so fabulous and must make it all feel so real! (Even though it is real since it is all paid!:rotfl: )

So happy for you and Tom!!

I was so relieved that we were successful with everything. It feels so much more real now that things have been booked! :thumbsup2

After returning to our villa we will enjoy a nice breakfast before we will head to the parks again. If we are there early enough we can still try to get in while they have EMHs.

And after using up our second Fast Pass we will head out of the park and over to the Studios.

or one of the Toy Story rides

IMG_4228.JPG

or we will just do some shopping.

IMG_4076.JPG

Then we will head into the village to finish our shopping spree and put everything into the car. Shortly before 5pm we will head back into the DL park to watch the parade.

If we can still keep our eyes open we will start packing most of the items, before we fall into bed around midnight.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today it was 120 days until our first Fantasy cruise, which meant that I was able to start booking adult dining and excursions for the first of our summer cruises.

Therefore, :rotfl2: my alarm went off at 5.40am CET in order to be ready when my booking window opened at 6am
When he clock on my computer jumped to 6am I hit the button and within half a minute I was at the page that has the Cabanas and I was shocked to see that 5 had already gone! :scared1:
But our favourite, Cabana 19 was still there, so I grabbed it! :woohoo:

In the end I got everything I wanted, and here's my list!

Day 2 - Remy champagne lunch
Day 4 - Under two flags (St. Maarten Island tour)
Palo dinner
Day 5 - Best of St. Thomas Island Tour and shopping
Skyride to Paradise Point
Day 6 - Palo brunch
Day 7 - Cabana 19 :woohoo:

Oh, and btw, when I checked the Cabanas tonight there was only 1!!!! left!

And we are checked in for the cruise as well. :rotfl2: Yes, I know, we are early, but what's done is done. :rotfl:

So excited for you getting to make plans for the cruise we were to go on together, I can't wait to hear all about it when we see you in Sept. :) We have yet to decide what we are going to on our rescheduled Eastern cruise.

First Yay:yay: for getting Cabana #19 and all your other ressies and tours , I wish they had a restaurant inside POTC at WDW , they are sadly lacking in dining with boys characters and themes in the parks T Rex is great and Rainforest Café at AK , but a Pirate character meal would be a huge success at DHS!!!

Your plans all sound wonderful !!In 3 weeks I will be heading for Orlando and my first Disney Cruise !!~:yay::yay::yay:

It is sad that you won't join us this time, but the reason why you had to reschedule your trip makes up for it - BIG time!
We picked out a few excursions for St. Maarten and St. Thomas and so far we are going to stick to it, until I can do more research. ;)

I was so happy to be able to snag my favourite Cabana again. :woohoo:

The Blue Lagoon restaurant is fun, NO characters though. It's actually inside the attraction and you see the boats run through. It is pretty neat and the food has been quite nice, then dropped in quality, but they have spruced up their game and the last reviews were pretty good. I guess we are going to give them another try.

Can't believe it is only three more weeks until your cruise, Rosie! :thumbsup2

Day 5, May 1

Park/Travel day

Time to go home again!
We might sleep in a little, May 1 is a holiday and the bakeries and grocery store will be closed. We will have breakfast in the villa,

IMG_8515.JPG

finish packing up and load the car with all our stuff, check out of the hotel, then we will head over to the parking lot and park the car before we head to the parks.
If we arrive in time we will head to the Studios Park first,

IMG_8707.JPG

and try to fit in one more ride on the Tower of Terror

IMG_3034.JPG

and a last stroll through the stores. Then we will head over to Disneyland Park and take a stroll through the park.

DSC_0012.JPG

Guess there will not be many rides that we can get on with only little wait, but we can take in the sights and sounds again.

IMG_8811.JPG

Around 1pm we will wave goodbye to the castle

IMG_7328.JPG

and head to the Disney village to have lunch.
We will either eat at Anette’s

IMG_8718.JPG

or Earl of Sandwich,

IMG_3089.JPG

before we head back to the car and start our drive to the airport.

IMG_7383.JPG

There we will return our rental car, head down to the airport and send our luggage on its way before we head to Starbucks for a last coffee treat.

IMG_7386.JPG

Then we will go through security and wait to go on the first leg of our trip home.

IMG_3103.JPG

I am sure they will serve a snack again

IMG_3106.JPG

and we will soon land in Frankfurt. Once there we will check out where our connecting flight’s gate is and rest a little. At quarter to nine we will hopefully on our flight home. Again we will receive a small snack

IMG_3109.JPG

and a drink, and about an hour later we will be back home again. And after picking up our luggage we will head to the parking lot, load everything into the car and head home. Lucky Tom will have the rest of the week off, while I need to be at work at 8am on Thursday.

what is that!?!

What a neat trip... I love all the subtle differences. Like the entrance to DL so cool! Blue Lagoon in DLRP is of course Blue Bayou in DLR. Just so cool to have slight differences. :goodvibes

Ah, French food looks so delicious! I have got to get back to DLP again some of these days.

Jill in CO

Departure day plans sound relaxing !!Well having to go to work the next day is a bummer !!

Yes, since it is a holiday in France, I expect the parks to be full, so why not take it easy that day. ;)
I know, going to work the next day is no fun, especially since it is a long day at school, but then there ARE only two school days that week. :rotfl2:

Ann, it's a breakfast sweet pastry, very tasty. It is filled with vanilla and topped with a Nutella like ganache. Yummy, but more than enough to share.

Yes, Blue Lagoon is like Blue Bayou! :thumbsup2 So fun to "dine in the dark". :rotfl2:

I would love to have one of those Milka wafers. :)

Milka is just the best chocolate, isn't it? ;)
