We invite you, if you dare ……… Summer plans 08/04 Day 25

Business class will mean that we can bring two suitcases each! :woohoo: ;) Guess who will do a lot of shopping? :rotfl2:

Our summer trip is really taking shape now - and I cannot believe how lucky we are to be able to meet so many awesome friends again.

I am finally caught up here . Life has been CRAZY here and I have not been on the Dis for over 3 weeks:scared1:talk about a lot of reading I need to do LOL!!!!
It is so exciting that you can have SUITCASES this trip that really is a BIG thing to celebrate.
Please tell Tom we send him belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY party:!!!!
Now I have to catch on your other 2 reports!!!!! Hopefully by the end of today!!!

As always, I am in awe of the plane foods...

Why did I think you were not renewing your ap? :confused3 I must be losing my mind.

Love that DLRP has the Toy Story area. Someday, I would love to see it in person...along with yet another haunted mansion...and the castle... Oh... just everything! I want to see it all. For now though, I love seeing all your pictures. :goodvibes

You know where to find me! ;) Think you know our dates...details to be figured out later. :goodvibes

Paris in two weeks, then Italy, including Venice  ...I am more than looking forward to those TRs! Love Italy, but have not make it to Venice....yet!

I have you down for our "middle" stay. ;) We just need to figure out where and when exactly. :thumbsup2
I can't believe we are going to Paris at the end of this month and then Italy the middle of the next. It should be a lot of fun and now that I know there is a Disney Store in Venice I NEED to get over there. :rotfl2:

So sorry to hear that life has been so crazy, Michelle! And to have to catch up on three weeks of DIStime :scared1: I hear you! Even though I "check" while on vacation, coming home and having to catch up is really hard work. :lmao:

Tom told me to say thank you for your birthday wishes. He was still on sickleave on his birthday, so home and able to kick back. Thank god! :goodvibes

Guten Tag Karin!!!!:goodvibesWie Gehtz ?? :)And that is about the limit of my German !!:rotfl2:

Well done, Rosie! Your German is very good! :thumbsup2

If you are in awe now, Ann, wait until our summer business class food! ;) That should be much more special. :goodvibes
It really makes sense to get APs at DLRP. With you stay more than 4 days the AP makes sense (5 days now for us and I hope we will be able to go again in the winter time), APs have a lot of bonuses (20% off of ALL purchases, 10% off of ALL food - TS and CS, even snacks, 35% off of hotel stays!) So it actually pays for itself within the year.
The Toy Story area is the newest addition to the park. The rides are a bit "basic", but fun none the less.
The castle is awesome and with the new Dreams show it is even more spectacular. :goodvibes

Day 3, April 29

Park day

I guess we will sleep in until around 7am, then get ready and head to the other boulangerie on the other side of our “village”,

IMG_8529.JPG

as our regular boulangerie will be closed on Monday. After breakfast we will head to the Magic Kingdom park and try to ride as many rides as possible, plus pick up a few fast passes.

Around midday we will try to hit one of the counter service restaurants for lunch,

as I have noticed they have changed their menus, so we are keen to try them. After lunch we will leave the park and do a little shopping at the Disney Village and at Auchan.

Then we will rest a little in our villa and return to the park in time for the afternoon parade.

We then hope to be able to have dinner at the Silverspur Steakhouse

in the park and after that will stroll around the park and maybe even fit in a ride or two again. About half an hour before park closing we will find a nice spot to watch Dreams from.

After Dreams we will be swept towards the exit with all the other guests and will head back to our car and drive back to our villa, where we will watch a little TV before we fall into bed.

Now I am humming the old song "April in Paris"! :goodvibes

What a lovely first day you will enjoy! ::yes::

I never get enough of your pictures, Karin! :goodvibes

Thank you, Christine.
I guess the other two days will be just as nice. :rotfl2: ..... and I still have two more to go!
Lots more pics to come. ;)

Great plans and that steak looks mighty good !!!!

Thank you, Rosie!
Silverspur has mighty good steaks. They have an open kitchen, so you can view a bit of the activity. :thumbsup2

Wow Karin another trip! DLRP is beautiful. I always love looking at your pictures.

Looks like another great day in DLRP !

How far are your apartments away from the park? they look so nice but I always take the train over from London and never hire a car

We wanted to go to DLRP in the spring anyway, but then I found really cheap flights and voila! We are spending 4 nights/5 days at DLRP! :thumbsup2

I love seeing the DLRP pics. They are familiar...yet not! :goodvibes

That is the perfect description! I always say the parks are so similar, but then they are NOT. :lmao:
I promise to take A LOT of photos ..... can't believe that at this time in three weeks we will already be in our villa. :woohoo:

Linda, we loved staying at the NY. Being so close to the park was awesome, but the price, even with a hefty discount was :scared1: :scared1:
We are staying for 4 nights in the villa for less than what we paid at the NY for 1 night. :rotfl2:

I "snipped" a google Earth image for you, so you can see where the Adagio/Citea villas are. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and the bus goes directly to the railway station. So the connection is not bad. ;)
We love to drive though. I am not really someone who likes to ride on a bus. :lmao:

You are doing so well catching up, Doris! :thumbsup2

I could not believe the rate at which they offered Business class! LOVE, love, love all the luggage we will be able to take, especially since I booked a few of the adult only restaurants. :goodvibes

I can see your pictures!!! How is that possible??? (I'm still at work. Shhh)

Gosh Karin, your pictures just make me happy. I'm not a fan of parade pictures but these ones are so nice! I love the horse on the Sleeping Beauty float.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today it was 120 days until our first Fantasy cruise, which meant that I was able to start booking adult dining and excursions for the first of our summer cruises.

Therefore, :rotfl2: my alarm went off at 5.40am CET in order to be ready when my booking window opened at 6am
When he clock on my computer jumped to 6am I hit the button and within half a minute I was at the page that has the Cabanas and I was shocked to see that 5 had already gone! :scared1:
But our favourite, Cabana 19 was still there, so I grabbed it! :woohoo:

In the end I got everything I wanted, and here's my list!

Day 2 - Remy champagne lunch
Day 4 - Under two flags (St. Maarten Island tour)
Palo dinner
Day 5 - Best of St. Thomas Island Tour and shopping
Skyride to Paradise Point
Day 6 - Palo brunch
Day 7 - Cabana 19 :woohoo:

Oh, and btw, when I checked the Cabanas tonight there was only 1!!!! left!

And we are checked in for the cruise as well. :rotfl2: Yes, I know, we are early, but what's done is done. :rotfl:
