We invite you, if you dare ……… Summer plans 08/04 Day 25

:thumbsup2

thanks Karin ...now I am hungry again! :goodvibes

Ah, another job well done! :rotfl2: ;)

Not long until your DLP trip!

Have you seen the Disney Dreams Show yet?

It really blew me away on my last trip. :)

Just 26 more days, Linda. We cannot wait!

YES, we did see the Dreams show twice when we were there last May. I am planning on seeing it at least once during our upcoming trip, just not the first night. With getting up at 4am I do not fancy fighting the crowds on a Saturday evening.
It's an awesome show! They really did well with it! :goodvibes

Day 2, April 28

Park day

We will get up at around 7am, get ready and then will drive to the boulangerie to pick up some fresh baguette and some pastries for breakfast.

Once back at our villa we will enjoy a leisurely hearty breakfast, then clean up and head over to the parking structure, to park our car. We will then head towards the Walt Disney Studios,

DSC_0632.JPG

to try to pick up a Fast Pass for Tower of Terror,

before we will head towards the Toy Story Area to try and ride one or two of their rides.

If we have enough time we will try to fit in Cinemagique or Animagique before riding Tower of Terror.

We might even make it to Rock’n’Rollercoaster or the Lights, Motors, Action show. Around 1.30 to 2 pm we will leave the park, head over to Earl of Sandwich and pick up a few sandwiches

to take back to our villa. There we will have a late lunch, then depending on the weather, either chill in the villa or drive around to explore the surroundings.

We should be back by 6pm to have some baguette and cheese,

before we head back to the Parking lot, park the car and head back into the park. This time we are aiming for the Magic Kingdom Park.
If there is any chance we will try and ride a few rides,

but otherwise we will make dining reservations for the following days or just stroll the park and do some shopping. At around 9.30 we will try to find some space to watch Disney DREAMS, which should start at 10pm.

After the show we will join the masses who will treck out to the parking lot and drive back to our villa, where we will either watch a little TV or head right to bed, depending on how tired we will be.

Is it a bit werid that in all those pictures, the one that sticks in my mind most is Earl of Sandwich? :lmao:

Actually they are all beautiful and I would love to see those fireworks.

Great plans. Lovely pictures, especially the fireworks pictures.

I'm with Jen - I could go for some Earl of Sandwich right about now! :rotfl:

I hope the end of April is a great time to visit weather wise. I just love seeing pictures from the different Disney parks.

Bummer on the wait time for the AP renewals. I hope it goes fast. Just curious - what does an AP to DLP run? Is it similar to the WDW rates?

Those baquettes are making my mouth water!! The fireworks looked awesome !!! I noted that at The Phantom House it said "WAIT TIME 10 mins " in English !!!!

Love that castle!!

Villa looks great....driving around the French countryside..sigh...heavenly. (I might even be tempted to skip DLP ;) )

I never noticed before that the DLP version of The Haunted Mansion is Phantom Manor - interesting!

Incredible photos, as always, Karin!:goodvibes

(Bought a new Vera over the weekend!)

Great plans Karin

Who knows, one day we may be in DLP at the same time :)

Looks like I trained you well, Jen! You react well to my food pics. :rotfl2:
The show is awesome btw! Like they combined the castle show with Fantasmic! :thumbsup2

I really want to see DREAMS again. It was awesome last May, but there were WAY too many people there. We hope for some lower crowds this time.

Weather can be soso in April. As long as it does not rain or snow I will be okay with it. ;)

Yes, it takes some time to renew/pick up an AP. First and foremost, you cannot activate it outside the park. You need to buy a temporary ticket, then head inside the park to get the "real" pass, which is plastic with your picture on it.
As for prices, as far as I know there are three different APs. The Francilien - cheapest 119 Euros, only good 280 days a year. LOADS of days that you cannot use it. Mostly weekends, so that is a huge no no for us.
Fantasy - 159 Euro, good 320 days a year - blocked out mostly holidays and weekends - NO way for us.
DREAM (:rotfl2:) 199 Euros - good for a whole year and the only one that gives you loads of benefits (35% off resort stays, 20% off any merchandise, 10% off ANY food item and a cocktail with every TS meal.)
Our last ones (yes, we currently hold APs for DLRP and WDW) paid for themselves with room discount and merchandise. ;)

Rosie, you would LOVE the baguette, they are sold still warm in the boulangerie. They are so good!
The fireworks show is absolutely awesome. The music is great, and the projection on the castle is out of this world. :cloud9:

The castle is beautiful, isn't it?

We always fit in some "exploring" time when we are in Paris. We are at the parks too often to fight the crowds, so instead we just enjoy the time we have there.

Yeah for a new Vera!!!!!!! :woohoo:

Great plans Karin

Ah, that would be SOOOOOO awesome, Linda!
Guess what, we are finally meeting Stefy and Dave this summer. I cannot believe it is really going to happen. :woohoo:

Christine, they moved to their first house together, and have adopted two furbabies, cute, cute kitties.
Not everything went smooth, so she didn't have much DIS time. She updated her trip report lately though. :thumbsup2

Just a little over three weeks and we will be in Paris. Soooooooo looking forward to it again.
We love those villas. They are not on property, but they give you so much space and a full kitchen. Much easier to have breakfast here than to line up outside the restaurant for breakfast. :rotfl2:
They did an amazing job with the Disney Dreams show! It is truly awesome. :goodvibes

I have put you on my itinerary. I just need the exact date for us to meet. But first I need to get on with Paris and two weeks later we'll go to Italy (and Venice - because they have a Disney store :rotfl2:) for a long weekend (4 days).
And as I already said before ....... I volunteer for all those rides! :goodvibes

Off topic: done with marking geography tests, and quite happy with them. Only one pupil who did not pass! :thumbsup2
