We have new additions to our family, 5 Baby Robins!!! Update!!

Hello All,

We have some temporary new additions to our family, 5 Robin chicks, which hatched 4 days ago and are growing rapidly, they are nesting in a window box under the bay window in our front garden. The mother is very attentive and is feeding them constantly as such the chicks are growing rapidly

Awww so cute.
I was watching the other morning a mummy bird feeding it's baby in my garden with some bread i had put out-it was hopping along and had all it's fluffy fluff-not proper feathers(i am sure you know what i mean ).x.

How cute, if you want to give them a nice treat, Robins love mealworms and grated mild cheese.

Just as a reminder for all animal lovers, please don't put out too much bread for the birds as they do need a varied diet and other household scraps go down as a nice treat for birds. I am unable to post a link but the RSPB site has some great information as to what you can feed birds. Fat from meat/bacon is loved by some birds.

To update all of those who are interested, all five are doing fine and their eyes are now open and now have adult feathers starting to show through.
I will upload further pictures later
