We have arrived. We got to checkin at 12:15, right before the line got REALLY long (we watched it grow behind us), and were unhitching for the first time by 12:30. Ended up having to rehitch the 1st time because our stinky slinky is at the back of the tt and we didn't back up enough to fit the truck. The second time...I forgot to check to make sure it was level:guilty:.

After entertaining the neighbors, we took the dogs to the dog park. I can now understand why someone recommended the preferred pet loop. We got site lucky and back up to creek/stream/river. Step out of the tt walk back then around to the park. The dogs had a blast running around after days cooped up in the trailer. The kids had a blast running around the play ground at the same time.

Then we came back to the tt, left the dogs to recover, and walked around the trail to the beach/marina. We checked out The Settlement, TCD, and surrounding areas. We hopped the yellow bus down to The Meadows and explored that area. We purchased an ornament for the tree, a pin, a postcard and our mugs. They are different from the ones we got last June.

It was then time to come back home. DH had to head off to Walmart to get a battery charger. Our TT battery had croaked on the way down and it turns out our Univolt converter is the problem. Since 11 of our 14 lights run of 12v.....

I had laundry to do. :laundy: Actually, I have more laundry to do. Four days of laundry doesn't get done very fast in the "Wonder Washer". Yes, the line is up. Sorry... I forgot to get the FF undies and I've been in Wal-Mart TWICE since we left! I am properly ashamed and embarrassed.

Tomorrow the kids and I are off to DHS. Some one help me... I have to ride Star Tours! My kids love it and DS is particularly Star Wars crazy. I suffer from motion sickness on that ride... "help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi...Your my only hope". Or should it say "Save me Ewan McGregor, your my only hope"?:wizard:

We arrived just after rope drop today. First up, as the nice lady on the bus suggested, was Toy Story Mania. 70 minutes we waited but boy did they have a blast. (Don't ask me why I don't Fast Pass... I'm not really sure. I think it has something to do with having to be early to everything... it just stresses me out.)

Then it was off to get pictures with Buzz and Woody. From there we hopped on the Backlot tour, were I ended up having to run through the prop house. Can anyone tell me why 6 year olds wait UNTIL the attractions starts? Luckily a CM pointed me to the restrooms in route to the ride. My daughter was not so happy about the canyon part of the ride. However, both enjoyed waving at the stunt riders waiting for their cues.

Star Tours was blessedly closed. However, the fact that Darth Vadar was available for photos with no line more than made my son forget about the ride being shut down. Lunch time at the Pizza Planet then of to wait on the car stunt show (sorry brain is just not willing to recall the name - lights motor...?). I was hoping for a nice sit down and wait...not so much. DS went nuts. He was absolutely crazy about the show. He wanted to just sit there and watch it again. DD...not so much. I was the mom in the bleachers after the final stunt cradling her crying child. She was good until the last trick...

At which point, I thought time to go back to the Fort to rest. Little did I realize that we'd get side tracked by Belle, The Beast, Gaston, and block party. Finally we made it back. We were here long enough to do some laundry, eat, get some hot chocolate, and catch a bus back to DHS for the Osbourne Family Lights.

Let me just say, DS wish came true. Snow before Christmas! The lights were just awesome. So, so many of them. At this point, I totally lost my mind. I agreed to another round of Toy Story Mania. It said 90 minutes....my feet disagree. My kids wanted my husband to ride it....so we did. This worked out really great since we arrived back in time to walk around from our loop to the Water Parade. Then we caught the fireworks..which my kids thought was better than seeing it at MK.

I was very fortunate to meet very friendly people today (on the buses, in line, and on the beach watching the water parade and fireworks).

I'm tired now... thank goodness tomorrow is a Fort day.......
