We have an AP day reserved but now want to book a room... will it be cancelled?

We are AP and have our 3 days reserved. We want to book a room for to overlap overnight two of the days. I know if you make a room reservation you get the day of and the day of checkout, but we have DHS booked for the AP and from the availability tool for that day, DHS is sold out. We want to keep DHS but will booking a night somehow erase the days we already booked? Thanks in advance.

Mine was not cancelled it was converted to a resort ticket reservation, so we were able to make 3 more AP reservations for different days.
