we have a three family apt bld and decided not to rent anymore until we sell it

NOW WILL I MISS THIS PLACE.......sure I will......my grandkids were the seventh generation that has lived in this place.....it was a small one story and then they made a loft and up it went.....then the loft became a second floor and then an attic went in.....then the attic went up and it became a third floor apartment ....it was big....three bedrooms....living room.......kitchen....bathroom.....a large storage area and a back porch.......well the only thing I am dreading.....is the cleaning and packing of all three floors.....since kimberly and family moved to a new home....the third floor is still full of their stuff and family stuff.......my mother lives on the second floor and all of that stuff will have to be packed up ......and then our place is on the first floor and that is alot plus a full size cellar with enough stuff to make another place.......OH MY GOODNESS.....maybe we should just stay here until we need to go to a nursing home and let the kids clean out the junk......hahaha....

WOULD YOU MISS YOUR HOME IF YOU HAD TO SELL IT.....

Oh my gosh, yes! I would certainly miss our first home. Where we are at right now, is officially our first home. To leave all those memories....it would be tough. It would really be tough to drive by and see what other owners have done.

The longest I ever lived anywhere was this house I live in now and that is 8 years. As a child we moved alot, and well have never really been that attached. I think if my house had all that history in it, I would find it hard to leave. To many memories

NOPE! I could move tomorrow. My memories are in my mind and I know they are with me wherever I go.
I was just talking with my friend about this the other day. She feels the same way I do & so does her mother and mine as well.
Wierd.
Dh also feels the same way, which I am glad because I would hate to stay in this big 2-story when the kids move out. We plan on downsizing and traveling.
