My husband is in the military and we are going to SeaWorld on the one day Hero's Salute pass. We have three kids ages 9, 6, and 18mos. Since we only have one day to spend there, what are the shows that we should not miss. My youngest loves Elmo, but I heard the show is not good. I do not want to waste time at shows that are not that great. This is our first trip to Sea World. I know that it is better to have two days, but we only have one. Please help.

ALL the shows are great, but the Shamu is over rated -- The smaller show stadiums allow the kids to see more.

Based on the kids ages, I'd definitely hit :
Clyde& Seamore (comedy)
Blue Horizons
Pets Ahoy if the kids like cats & dogs!

Then fit in any of the other shows. The show schedule is difficult to see them all. If you stay thru closing, be sure to catch Mystify!

I haven't seen Shamu Rocks, but my kids were bored at Believe

The Penguin exhibit could be a quick walk thru or an all day watch depending on your kids take to the animals. We found watching the penguins amazing! And it is a great retreat from the sun.

Have a Great Time!

I don't agree with Andrea (sorry Andrea  ), I think that a trip to SW without seeing one of the Shamu shows would be incomplete. The night show, Shamu Rocks, is better IMO than Believe. That said, my kids enjoyed both shows. I do agree that Clyde and Seamore are a must do. Be sure to get there early enough to see the mime perform before the show starts, he is a hoot!

Don't get me wrong -- I like Shamu! Just that the stadium can get sooo crowded and for wee ones it is difficult to see.

I am sure Honey & Family will have a great time -- Busch Parks are clean & great landscaping.

I always make it a point to see Clyde & Seymore and the Shamu show!!!! IMO, they are the best!;)

We were just there the 1st week of June. Blue Horizons was our favorite. We also saw Clyde & Seymore and Believe. Both were good.

I do have to agree that Believe is overrated. Blue Horizons was much better.

Thanks for all the advice. This is our first trip to SW and we are very excited. I always have a well planned out day for Disney. So I am a little comcerned about SW because I know so little about it. I am sure that we will have a wonderful day no matter what we get to see or not see.:goodvibes
