headed to the car wash. We are representing the local theater in two local parades on the 4th! DW helped me carry it to the patio, she's tough. oh yeah, I vacuumed the inside before the wash and pre-soaked the tires and rims.
Then on the way back home, DW called and asked if I could stop for poster board, in specific colors of course. and bandannas in matching colors for the dogs. After that I got gas for the truck, filled one tire that was low and deposited our checks (which is not a regular thing with this economy).
Then trimmed the yard, edged the sidewalks and cut the grass. The play director stopped by and we worked out the power problems for running a music speaker system on the truck.
I built a mounting system to hold the speakers on the roof. Marcie cooked some chicken for dinner and her friend the director stayed for dinner on the patio. Marcie was also working on the "fiddler on the roof" large scale graphics for the truck. now she is editing the music for the parade.
As tired as I am, you really do feel better when you get up early and get a lot of stuff done.
A quick shower and then we went out on the front lawn and watched our town's fireworks show.
