We got upgraded!!!

I've been checking my reservation on the Disney site and today I noticed that we got upgraded from a cat 5 to a cat 4 (8008) for our 9/17 Magic cruise. We just booked it last week using points and cash. We were given a cabin number so I really didnt think we would get upgraded.
I think I am going to suprise my DD and not tell about the upgarde. She was bummed that we may have been in a 3 passenger cabin and could not sleep in the bunkbed. Now she will have her pick of beds. We cruised in a cat 4 on our last cruise and every night she would tell our steward which bed she wanted made up.
Can you tell I'm excited!!!!

Congrats on your upgrade!!!!

On our cruise last September we got upgraded from cat 12 to cat 11 and then paid $200 to get upgraded to cat 8.

We too were upgraded on our last Disney cruise.
We went from a 6 to a 4,
it was just me and DH but we loved the space.

Does anyone have any idea what it would cost to go from a 9 to a 7? A 4 day Sept cruise? Any ideas?

Update to our upgrade.... We are sailing with 4 other families and we were all upgraded. 3 had cat 6's upgraded to 5's. We went from 5 to 4 and 1 family went from 4 to a 3!
I am glad to have the extra space but I am so jealous of our friends in the Cat 3. I told them that they will be spoiled forever!

Yes, you have to create a login and profile on the Disneycruise site first, then go to "MY DISNEY CRUISE" in the upper right hand corner, and then click "Retrieve Reservation" and use your confirmation number that AAA gave you and your birthdate .... the birthdate of the member of your party who booked the cruise.
