We stayed at the Davy Crockett ranch in cabin number 130, there was 3 adults and 2 children and the cabin was plenty big enough :)

It had a double bedroom and a small bedroom with bump beds and also a bed setee in the lounge area. It was really nice and I was really impressed with it :) You were given a small free cleaning kit from the trading post shop to :)

Breakfast was enough for us all and some over to take to the park.

We arrived Tuesday and checked in at 12, given all our tickets etc and told to come back after 3pm for the key (reception open 24hrs) so off to the park we went

The park wasnt busy at all and most of the rides was a max 20 min wait (except crush :confused3 ) The weather was good to :) We flicked in between the parks to do a few rides on each and just to get a feel of the place ready for our full day on wednesday. We booked Cafe Mickey's for Tuesday night and I have to say it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. We got pics with Mickey and Minnie and lots of others, it was such a great atmosphere with two birthdays in there and all the singing etc

Set off at 8.30am on Wednesday to make the most of the EMH but sadly Space Mountain didnt open till 9.45am and they wasnt forthcoming as to why

But we had a full day at parks and me even braving Tower of Terror, I took my son who although is only 4 is quite brave and likes speed :lmao: All throughout getting up to the start of the ride we kept asking are you ok do you want to go back and stay with nanna but he was adamant he wanted to do it, sits on the ride and when the lift opens and you see yourself in the mirror he then wanted nanna :( BUT as we then dropped he started saying yeeeaahhh lol he loved it . Had lots of interaction with characters in the park and lots of pics as it wasnt busy still. We ate at Annettes and TBH I think I was spoilt by the Cafe Mickey experience the night before but it was still nice

Thursday the park was a lot busier, the queues were bigger and you could tell it was going to be a lot busier but we braved through it and still managed to do some other rides inc Tower of terror again :cool1: We left the park at 3pm to drive home and I WANT TO GO BACKKKKKK

It helped that the weather was good and the park wasnt so busy. I would definatley stay at the Davy again but would book another day or maybe 2 :rotfl:

We hired a buggy and when you handed it back to go to the other park they gave us a receipt so we could pick up another in the other park free of charge :)

Well between me and you (looks over shoulder to make sure husband isnt about) YES :lmao:

3rd November for 4 nights but at the explorers as my sister is going to :rotfl:

Sounds like you had a great time :goodvibes

Your Ds was brave in going on ToT :thumbsup2

Excellent work, booking again so quickly :thumbsup2 .
My DD loves the Explorers - its fabulous for kids.

I can't believe you put a 4 year old on tower of terror!!:rotfl:

Welcome back, it sounds like you all enjoyed yourselves:goodvibes

Sounds like you had a great time and great that you've booked to go again already!! :) Can't believe your 4 yo old the Tower - I wouldn't dare take my DD1 (mind she's only 3.5) - she has such an imagination that we'd never hear the end of it (nightmares I mean) :(

I must admit we did ponder on the DCR but had heard v mixed reviews about it - pleased to hear it was good. I think the one beds are meant to be fairly old and looking a bit tatty?

LOL, my 4 year old niece begged me to take her on in WDW... usually quite adventurous, but was absolutely traumatised by it and wouldn't speak for a good two minutes after leaving!!

Glad your son enjoyed it, just goes to show how different kids are :rotfl:

Or did your 4 year old put you on the TOT :lmao:

Glad you had such a great time and are going back :thumbsup2

I think it was him putting me on it :lmao: there was quite a few small children on it so he wasnt alone :)

We bought the pic of it and me and my husband faces are all screwed up and my sons is all calm like 'is this it?' lol

But in all seriousness if I thought he would be traumatised on it or after I wouldnt have even thought of taking him on it and I kept asking all the way, he never even mentioned it afterwards :rotfl:

He was gutted he wasnt quite tall enough for space mountain

I actually only booked the one room cabin so was pleased that we got a two bed one. I didnt get a chance to see any of the one beds inside but ours was fairly new so was very pleased :)

Fabulous report, so pleased to hear you loved it! Well done to your son for going on TOT too, what a trooper!
