Trip Oct. 18th thru 23rd.

Why do I say "finally made it", well we were supposed to be here last year but I got very ill and had to cancel our trip. Better now, so I made all the plans for this year and whew we made it!
Our home resort is Boardwalk, so thats where we are right now, without the kiddos, I know, bad mommy.

No, no, no.......NOT a bad mommy! Good for you! Glad to hear you made it! You will go home feeling refreshed and rejuvinated. Have a great trip!

Okay, very busy with halloween week.
Wednesday.
On the first day I noticed a room menu, which I had not seen before since we usually stay in a 2bedroom. So here is a looky loo at what you can order for room service.

Decided to go and grab something at the bakery but thought I would take some pics of the area leading up to the Belleview Lounge.

The best deal at disney $.01 machines

We have enjoyed the belleview lounge on past visits. At night we get the kids hot chocolate. There are books and games you also can use.
Well onto the Boardwalk Bakery.

And with all that goodness what did I get:

Not as ooey gooey as the cinnamon bun at the main street bakery thats for sure. I warmed it up a little in the microwave and it was just okay. Too many other choices to get this again.

Looking forward here as well. Next year will be my first F&W experience so I have been eagerly reading reports from this year.

Looking forward to reading your thoughts and to seeing your pictures. I was at Food and Wine yesterday and had the best time. I am a picky eater and I found all of the food excellent and some unbelievable. Looking forward to going back again before it is over. Hoping your report lets me in on something I might have missed.

What a great itinerary. You couldn't ask for better weather, that's for sure. Is it very crowded? I'm looking forward to your trip report.

For us being locals I did find it more crowded than I would have expected. I found out during the week that there was a huge convention in town plus it seems that in parts of the country it is fall break. So maybe not crowded for most but us locals it was Packed!

We were there this past weekend and loved every minute. I have to say, if you are a chocolate lover, you MUST try the Warm Chocolate Lava Cake with Baileys Ganache. YUM YUM YUM! I wish I was there having some now. I had many items around the world but this was my hands down fave. Well, that and the wine & champagne.

I hate to tell ya but I never got to try it. I know sinner of chocolate lovers. I just never seemed to be at epcot during a dessert craving.

Wow, thanks for the report. We plan to go to our first Epcot Food and Wine Festival in 2010. After reading some of the trips reports I felt a little lost. But you have made me feel more comfortable about to expect and have given us ideas for what to do next year.

Great photos too! I have to admit although it hasn't been that long since breakfast those photos are making me hungry and thirsty.

I keep saying this but you will have an awesome time during food and wine fest. Just a quick hint check back into the restaurant boards before your trip and you will get valuable info on booking discounts etc., I got discounts for DVC for the demos that I would have never known about if it were not for these boards! Maybe we will see you there next year. I already booked for the first week of October.
