We FINALLY have the Travel Channel!!

We live in South Jersey, and used to have the Travel Channel through Comcast. Then one day it went away. It was one of our favorite channels (not only for the Disney shows ).

When I look up the website of the Disney shows on this week, I was always upset that I couldn't see any of the Travel Channel Shows.

BUT....

DH found it the other day....It's channel 188 on our Comcast Digital Cable (in case there are any of you out there still thinking you don't have it)!! I don't know how long it's been there, but we are BEYOND thrilled!

I'm with you kimwim8. I discovered it a couple of weeks ago, and I am so HAPPY!!!! That combined with the website that tells you when all the Disney shows are on is a lifesaver. I'm watching the show right now about the Grand Floridian.

ETA: Wasn't it weird that we had it On Demand, but not the channel? And what happened to the Disney section on Demand? You know we have Oxygen now too right?

I went through like a week of the Travel Channel (just to double check the website) and scheduled my DVR to record all of the Disney shows!! I'm in HEAVEN!!

Yeah, I agree! What is scintilating about watching a bunch of people play cards? Not to go OT, though.

My kids and I just watched a show I recorded from Travel Channel on Yellowstone and it was really good!

Watch out though cause at least once a year it becomes the Vegas Channel instead of the Travel Channel. As DH and I like to say "All Vegas, all the time."

Travel Channel is my favorite Samantha Brown has the perfect job!!! That would be so cool!!! Glad you can enjoy it again!


We did the same thing w/the disney channel...didn't think we had it and just stumbled on it one day....

We just starting receiving both those channels here in North Jersey too. I'm so thrilled to have the travel channel. I've been searching out all the Disney shows. There are a few Great Hotels with Disney hotels coming up.

I tried it and I have it! I've been waiting for this so long. Anytime I've tried to watch the Travel Channel in Florida, it's always been one of those poker shows too!
