We filed our Federal Income Taxes online 2 weeks ago and we already

Took 2 whole weeks!

Talk about fast!

Now....I just wish I could keep the money in there! It's burning a whole in my bank account!

Yes we have it earmarked, DH is having some major dental work done, (dental implants) and our insurance won't pay a dime of it! So most of it is going towards that, and some of it is earmarked for our vacation.

And a little bit is staying in our savings acct. as rainy day money, in case something goes wrong with our cars, appliances, etc.

Just filed ours electronically this past Sunday, and I'm checking every day to see if our check has been deposited! Ours is going for vacation, too - we're heading out West this year. I'm finally going to get to see the Grand Canyon!!!! I'm so excited!

We overpaid this year Katholyn...usually we are in the same boat, but I sent mine in already, this is a first for us!
DH and I are self employed.

All hail the almighty mortgage interest deduction! I'll either be paying $38, or getting a $1200 refund; my ex needs to talk to his accountant about the kids. I'm pretty confident I'll get the EIC; I think he earns too much to qualify. So I'm excited! (Either way, really, I'm happy!)

This is excellent news.

I just went to the accountant last evening and our return has been filed. I didn't anticipate getting the type of return we are and it sounds as if we'll have it before our March WDW trip. We will book a Disney Cruise with a portion of it. The rest will go towards savings and home improvements.

Way to many $$'s to spend all at once, but it's an unexpected return on our $$'s.

I filed mine on paper and it was deposited in a little over 3 weeks. Mailed 1/29/04, deposited yesterday.

For those of you still waiting, just go to www.irs.gov to check on your refund. Mine was just filed Monday (Feb 16th) and the IRS tells me our deposit will be deposited into our account on March 2nd! Between 11-17 days just like promised! CAN'T WAIT FOR THOSE FOUR DIGITS!! $$$$
