We had Boma scheduled for our last night all together. Aunt, Uncle and the two CK were heading out right after dinner. We checked in and the place was swamped. I think our resservation was for 8:30 but we checked in early and were seated by 8:15.
We ordered drinks and made our way up to the buffet stations. It was so crowded that most of my pictures did not turn out very good I must say. We all ate pretty well but by this last meal we were getting full very quickly from all that we had eaten over the week.
T2 ate the best he had all week. He loved the kid selections of chicken nuggets and mac and cheese and ate his weight in those. He also ate a ton of fresh fruit and desserts.
The hummus were so delish that I thought I might eat only that. I liked the red pepper one the best as it was a little spicy. We even bought some with snack credits so we could eat it in our room later during the week. I also love Zebra Domes so that was my dessert of choice.
CK1 was not feeling well as he was coming down with a sinus infection and only ate 2 platefuls instead of his normal all you can eat attitude.
Uncle ate a ton of the carved meats and loved the grapefruit and avocado salad.
Mary ate some of the soups as she is a soup girl.
She loves Boma so she tried lots of things she did not get to try the last time.
CK2 said, "This had to be my favorite buffet that we ate at during our time at WDW. First, the service was excellent. Next the food was exotic enough to make it special yet familiar enough to ensure that you somewhat knew what you were getting."
Aunt and T1 both tried a lot of things and had a couple of platefuls. Both ate more food items and less desserts as they both are not big on desserts.
We loved Boma. We had a great server that kept our drinks full and plates cleared. The food was hot, the buffet clean, and a nice assortment of food items. Even the pickiest of all could find a decent amount of food options to enjoy.
We then made our way out to the lobby to say goodbye to them and go and find our new room at Jambo House.
