We did it!!! We finally became a memeber of DVC!!!

My DH finally saw the light & value of becoming a DVC member!! I am so excited!!! We were able to use our reservation (our original trip starts on Saturday 6/25-7/3 @ Poly with the MK view) as our down payment and than some!! We did have to cancel that reservation and create a new one at SSR (that was all that was available on a 7 day notice). Now we just have to purchase our dining and tickets again.

We bought 160 points At BLT (CR is our favorite resort). Which works for the time of year we like to go and lenght of stay at BLT.

I am fo excited!! We leve in 6 days!!

Welcome to "the family"...you'll love SSR! Are you in a studio or a one-bed (or larger)? The difference in the rooms between the hotels & the DVC resorts isn't that great in studios, but it's positively mind-boggling in one-beds or bigger...

SSR isn't the Poly, but it's gorgeous and fun and there's nothing quite like the feeling of "belonging" that comes when you stay at a DVC on your own points vs staying in a hotel room...and that feeling never goes away (altho the times we actually stay in a hotel instead of a DVC room are few & far between!)...

Anyway, have a great time and we'll be very interested in reading about how you like SSR and Disney on DVC!!
