We dealt with the SPIDERS...what will it be this year?

I have wonderful news my friends!!! Our mom went into surgery today at 1130am and at 130am her surgery was over and she was doing wonderfully!! They brought her back up to ICU and we were in to see her by just after 2pm She told Jasmine before she was put on the ventilator that she was a tough old bird and I guess she is We are all riding high right now...they are hoping to get her off the ventilator tomorrow but they will see how tonight goes!

I have to tell you all a story though....she wanted to tell Peg something last night so she got her a pen and paper and my mom wrote "there are people looking at me"....Peg said "nurses"....mom said no ... then Peg asked..."can I see these people or can you just see them mom" she answered with a yes. Peg held her hand and said "we have lots of people praying for you mom and I think they have sent angels to look after you....mom agreed with this When I was telling people at work I found out who has faith and who doesn't think that way....98% of people said "angels are there" and 2% said morphine'll do that to you I believe they are angels sent by all of your prayers.....we cannot thank you all enough! You are all very special to us and we will never forget this......love to you all

I had to laugh at the angels versus morphine post! Is it OK to say that I believe both? I definitely believe in angels, but maybe, just maybe, the morphine makes them a little easier to see!

I heard your mom is off the ventilator and has reasonable blood gases considering her valve disease! I hope things continue to go well!
