We Cruised The Dream Again and Loved It! February 16th-February 19th, 2012

Where: Disney Dream and Disney World

So We have cruised 14 times now and all have been great. We had a work convention down in Orlando on Monday and Tuesday and airfare was crazy prices. So we decided to fly down early and go on a 3 night cruise on the Dream for a few different reasons.

Highlights of the trip

-Servers were Dexter and Ibrahim, they were good and tablemates were nice

-Stateroom Host was Lita and she was good and did a good job. She was nice when I would see her

-Trevor was club host on this cruise. I got to talk with him twice in Evolution and he is awesome. Got to get a picture with him as well.

-Other Cruise Staff that I met for the first time were awesome as well.

-weather was great

-rode Aquaduck for the first time, yes I had been on the Dream before, but I was kind of nervous about riding it and then on all of my cruises I have never gotten in a pool at all, not a big big water/pool person, but I tried Aquaduck and loved it. I wanted to go on it again, but on a 3 night just not enough time. Hopefully I will go on it more then once on the fantasy, and next step is to try to Adult Pool as well

So I woke up around 6:30am, yeah I can't sleep in since I was excited I was leaving. I got up and ate some breakfast and went on the computer. Waited till my mom got up and once she was up I took a shower, got dressed and ready for the day. After that made sure I had everything pack and then just waited around for dad to come home from work so we could leave. Finally 11:30am came around and we said by to my mom and we were off to the airport. Got to the airport checked our bags, went through security and then grabbed some lunch at mcdonalds. Went to the gate and waited around for a while, got some gum and a cupcake from crumbs and then we finally boarded the plane and were off to Orlando. We got to Orlando airport.

and we headed to get our bags. After getting our bags we headed over to budget to get our rental car. We then were headed off to Disney World for the night. Tonight we stayed at Disney's All-Star Music Resort. Checked in and went to our room.

Dad had noticed when we got to the hotel that the car wasn't filled with gas so he called about that. After he was done with that we headed to Downtown Disney and went to Earl of Sandwich for dinner, it was yummy. We went to World of Disney after. We started heading back to the car after that, ran into my friend Cara who I had met back in 2010 on a 7 night cruise and still talk with today. It took us a little while to find the car, but we found it and headed back to the hotel. Here's a picture of the car.

Once back at the hotel we decided we wanted some drinks, so off we went to the food court and we also look around the hotel a little as well.

We went and looked at the store at the hotel really quick and then got some drinks and I also got a milkshake. We headed back to the room for the night since we had a long day tomorrow and wanted some rest. I can't remember what we did, but I think we prob watched some tv and got our things ready for tomorrow. I took a shower at some point and we both went to bed I'd guess maybe around 11:00pm.

I woke up around 6:00am. I was excited we were heading on a cruise so I couldn't sleep in. I think dad was out around the hotel getting a drink for himself and taking a few pictures.

While he was doing that I got ready for the day. Dad came back and I wasn't ready so we went on got me a soda. When dad got back we both got our things ready for the day. We headed to the food court for breakfast where I got a Mickey Waffle. We went back to the room and brushed our teeth and then we went and explored the hotel.

We headed back to the room and dad brought some of the bags out to the rental van. Dad got back and we decided we would leave and drive to port since it was near 9:30am and we didn't want to just sit around.

The drive was long a boring, but I made a good mix cd so that helped. We decided to head over to Ron Jons Surf Shop before going to port, so that's what we did. I also checked my messages on my cell phone and I had a message from my mom saying that is was snowing in NJ. Here's the thing when my dad and I go away it usually snows. I called my mom and talked to her, lucky for her the snow wasn't sticking. We headed to port to check in. This cruise we parked at the port. We got into the terminal and check in and then just waited around to board the Disney Dream.

Joining in. We have been on the Wonder and Magic, and doing the Magic again in June. We are booked on the Dream for June 2013. I am hoping that I love the "big" ships as much as I love the "classic" ships.

We looked around the terminal a while and took some pictures.

Finally at around 11:30 they started to board the ship. We headed to get on the Disney Dream. Got our boarding picture.

And then we were finally on the Disney Dream.

We headed to guest services and signed up for the martini tasting and then we headed up to Cabanas for our first lunch. Lunch was great and I ate a lot and we both also got drinks of the day.

After lunch we went and found a restroom for me and I changed into my swimsuit. After that we found a chair and dad waited with our stuff while I went on the Aquaduck. I didn't go on it the last time we cruised the Dream, but went this time and love it.

After that we walked around for a while and took some pictures.

The rooms were finally ready so we headed down to deck 2 and went to the stateroom.

I left dad in the stateroom and did some more exploring and picture taking.

Got a Bud Light and sat down to relax and enjoy the view.

I called my mom one last time and said bye till Sunday and then walked around and took pictures a little more.

Headed to the dismeet at 3:00pm and met some awesome disboarders. After that headed back to the stateroom.

The lifeboat drill was next and we were on deck 4, it wasn't bad at all. We then headed up to the Sail Away Party.

met up with my dad and we headed to Animator's Palate for dinner. We met our servers Dexter and Ibrahim and we also met our 6 tablemates who were all nice enough. Dinner was good, can't remember what I had though. Got pictures taken at dinner.

After dinner I headed to 687 sports bar and got a couple coronas and watched ESPN which was one. Headed to the Walt Disney Theatre after a while and met up with my dad and we watched The Golden Mickey's. They were good tonight, after the show headed back to the stateroom to drop off some stuff and saw this.

Went and watched High Society in the District Lounge, after a while headed to Evolution for Match Your Mate which was funny. I got the meet the oldest couple later in the cruise. After that watched Roadhouse theme night and danced. Got a couple beers at the bar and a chocolate martini. After a while left Evolution and walked around the ship video taping a taking pictures.

I woke up around 7:30am. Dad went and got us some drinks up on deck 11 and I got ready for the day. When dad got back we decided on where to go for breakfast, today we decided to try Royal Palace. So we headed up to Royal Palace for breakfast. I can't remember what my dad got, but I got the Disney Cruise Line breakfast, can't remember what was on in the plate though. Breakfast was good. After breakfast I headed back down to the stateroom and brushed my teeth. Talked to dad about what we would be doing today and then left to go walking around the ship and take some pictures and videos, yes I like taking pictures and videos. Some Princesses were in the Atrium.

Went up to deck 11 and got some Hi-C, yess that's for you Jeff.

Found dad reading on deck 12 forward.

I asked dad to take some pictures of me, so off we went.

Dad said he was going to get of the ship for a while, since we had the martini tasting later we picked a time to meet up. So I left day and took more pictures and videos.

While I was on the ship, dad got off and took some pictures.

Back on the Dream I had a headache so I went and relaxed on deck 4 for a while and watched some of this diaper dash thing happening in the Atrium, idk it was werid. It was nearing lunch time so I headed up to Cabanas for some lunch, ran into dad was so back on the ship by now and he joined me. Lunch was good had some chicken fingers, fries, ham, mac n cheese, beans, and sushi and also had a dessert. After lunch I told my dad when I would meet up with for the martini tasting and then I headed back to the stateroom to take something for my headache. After that I headed up to deck 4 and relaxed while listening to my ipod, I think I actually fell asleep as well. At 2:00pm after a little nap I was feeling good so I headed up to deck 11 for ice cream and some beer, 2 for 1 deal going on, good timing. So I sat on deck 12 and enjoyed those. I walked around more and took some pictures.

We did the Martini Tasting which was good and I hope to do it on the Fantasy in April when I cruise.

After the tasting we headed back down to the stateroom and my headache was back and it felt like I was spinning when I tried to lay down, so dad left me to rest, but I couldn't so I headed up to deck 11 for pizza and soda and brought it back down to the room and took some videos.

After a while I decided to get ready for the night and headed up to get a picture with Mickey.

I had a little time before Captain Jack Sparrow came out so I people watched for a while and then got a picture with Captain Jack Sparrow.

It was about 5:30, so I met up with my dad and we headed to dinner which was in Enchanted Garden tonight and was good. Dexter gave as a puzzle type thing to try to do, and it was hard. After dinner heade up to deck 11 for Mickey's Pirates Party.

Headed down to the stores after a while and did some shopping and then met up with my dad for the show that night which was Villains Tonight!, was was good. I like the Kim Kardashian joke made. After the show headed back to the stateroom really fast and then headed up to deck 11 and got a drink and some more pizza and waited for the fireworks.

After that I walked around a little and then headed to Evolution for Adult Krazy Karaoke, which was funny as heck, at the end of it they had people come dance on the dance for and gave away the rest of the free shots they had, so I got a free shot, after that got a beer and a chocolate martini and danced a little in the night club. After a while I left and walked around a while taking pictures and videos.
