Hi everyone! Hope you're all staying warm and toasty if you're in a cold weather place!
I'm in Iowa and although we shouldn't have any measurable snow this weekend, it's COLD.....so I think today I am going to hibernate inside and play on the DIS.
So, let's get on with it.....Monday, November 8th PART 2!!
After finishing up the Tour, Sadie and I called her Mom and Buzz to meet up with them. They were just leaving Toon Town and so we decided to meet at the Carousel. After meeting up, we were on our way!
The big news for this trip was that Buzz was now 40.5" tall
so he could ride more rides! His first rollercoaster was the Barnstormer, and he LOVED it, my aunt reported back.
Since we were near the Carousel, we decided to take a ride. My Aunt doesn't care for anything that spins, so I take one for the team and do those rides with the kids.
I really do like them, though - it's funny; I don't care for really extreme rides (like ToT, for example) but I love the Teacups and that type of ride. My aunt is the exact opposite; sign her up for RNR, ToT, etc....but she would probably be done for the day if she rode Teacups!
The next few attractions we saw were the Carousel, It's a Small World, and Haunted Mansion!
Justin decided that he was brave enough for another coaster, so we headed over to Big Thunder Mountain! We were wondering what he would think - but he LOVED it!!!
His hands were in the air the whole time, and he wanted to go over and over again. The crowds were actually pretty good this morning, and so he was able to ride twice! After his triumph at the Mountain, I had to get his picture!
Way to go, Buzz!!

The rest of the afternoon was spent walking leisurely around MK, riding what had short waits and what the kids wanted to do. We ran into a few friends...
I can't remember when we left the park, where we ate dinner, etc....I cannot find my trip journal at this moment so I'll have to come back and edit that. We had an ADR nearly every day so I just can't recall....hmmm...
It'll come to me!
After a nice day, we headed back to Beach Club. Our tooties were tired, and so Belle and I took advantage of the fact that a quiet pool was literally 4 steps from our room. She took a few laps in the pool and then we sat in the hot tub.....ahh....sweet bliss.
I would love to be there right now!!
We had a fantastic first full day at our favorite place. Tuesday would dawn bright and early, so after a super day we went to bed.
THANKS, READERS!
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND, SEE YOU AGAIN REAL SOON!
