Hi Nikkii, loved your mini trip report, my nana is leaving for NY in the morning with her sister and they have tickets for the radio city show...

we went for my 21st in 2007 and love love loved that show!!! I still wear my souveneir rockette pyjama's at xmas! and when we saw the rockefeller tree it was up but not lit too, so hopefully my nana will get to see it in full glory!

she wants us all to write a list of potential gifts/xmas presents and I'm researching disney villains mac collection, have you seen it? looks so cool!

the first photo of you and your sister I looked at her first and thought it was you, then saw the real you and was very confused for a milli-second, looks like you had a brilliant 'touristy' type evening!

Hey Cathy! Hope your nana made it to NYC alright! We're having some crazy rain last night and today. The power is actually out at my apt...thankfully, I set my cell phone as a back-up alarm!

I have not seen the villians mac collection. Have NO clue what that is! Haha, I'll have to google it!

I know, my sister and I get mistaken for twins all the time. We're actually 4 years apart!

You should definitely go to NYC! Did you watch the tree lighting last night? Wish it was lit when we were there but there would have been 10 times more people so can't complain....

Loved your NY excursion! What a great kick off to the holiday! I am going on a girls day with my mom and cousins on Sat to Philly. I totally planned a visit to Macys and Comcast Center to get some Christmas in. After I read about your trip to NY, I looked into it for us. It was a little more expensive than Philly, so I thought that we'd have to visit NY another.

Hey Ellen! So glad you liked the NYC pics. I actually didn't have to have a steady hand at all for those pics. I guess that camera isn't as bad as I think it is. When all is said and done, the pictures are actually not that bad. It's just that it's a pain in the A to change settings AND it's sooooo freaking small and lightweight, which you would think would be a good thing but it's really more of a hassle because it's hard to take a picture with one hand because you can barely get a grip on it!

Sorry for the rant!

Loved your mini-NYC TR! I haven't been to NYC for the Christmas season in about 5 yrs! Definitely need to get back! The Rockettes look amazing!

And just thought I'd let you know that this past Thurs @ Epcot while waiting for my turn for Test Track(was using rider swap) I couldn't help but break out in song. Singing "Single Riders" of course! haha

Love your NYC pics! I haven't been down to Rockefeller since they took down the scaffolding off the tree, it's on the list for this month though! It's so beautiful, isn't it? I hope to go see the Rockettes some year too, looks like an awesome show!

Sorry to hear it was so crazy busy in the Disney store. We went there on a Sunday shortly after it opened and it wasn't that bad. Though...since I live here, I am used to crowds!

I loved your NYC pictures! What a fun time you had!! I took Ashley to see the Rockettes for her 16th birthday last year - but it was in Pittsburgh, not NYC. They were wonderful but I would still love to see them at Radio City Music Hall. I love all your Disney "finds" in New York.

When are you going back to the World? I think we are going to do a Disney/Sea World/Universal trip this summer. Not sure yet exactly when though - maybe late June/early July again.

I was soooo excited to finally be at the new Disney Store. Unfortunately, it was not nearly as awesome as the old World of Disney Store that used to be on 55th and 5th. It really was like a giant Disney store. The only cool thing that I was soooo glad they still had, was the NYC disney merch.

Here's some vinylmations, NYC style!

Going up to the second floor...which turned out to be a bust! They did have a RideMakerz station, which I thought was ironic since this store took the place of the old Virgin Megastore in NYC and RideMakerz took the place of Virgin Megastore in DTD....

It was very crowded and hard to get around in this store, especially upstairs, so we quickly went back down and I decided I really needed to get something disney/NYC!

This is the shirt that I got...but it's red and a t-shirt, not a hoodie.

I LOVE this one!

.....for your wonderful blip about NYC cuz.......I just booked a 6nght 7 day stay up in NYC...

Complete with me sittin' on the HOME SIDE of a Yankee game - never been to a Yankee game and looking foward to it.
