We are thinking of renting a camper and driving

We live in NS, so it would take us at least 3 or more days to drive. Our kids are dd8 and dd2. What do you think would be a good age to do this at?

We are planning on doing it some year before Christmas so we can take decorations and put them out, like others. That was one of the highlights of our trip when we stayed in a cabin.

We regularly pull our popup from Florida to Cape Cod without any hesitation in doing this. It is nice to have your home away from home nearby. I know it involves a different set of financial circumstances in renting and it might be very expensive compared to our situation. As to the distance which for us is 25oo miles round trip we don't mind it at all.


You would be surprised at all you can see even on the freeways.
