are there traditionally any discounts on rooms? I realize the free dining is bookable for that last week of Sept...but I am not as interested in free dining.

We want to do MNSHP and the F&W festival stuff. I have been many times but never during this time of year.

will there be AP rates or any promos do you think? have there been traditionally?

thanks !!!! ;)

Yes, there have been discounts traditionally, I THINK they have come out around late August before. (We went late October 2007, and that is when the general public discount came available that year.)

I am not sure if I can link to this, I am sure someone will let me know and delete it if it's a no-no, but here is the list of historical discounts..

I know that I've gone in October of 2003 & 2005, and the discounts that we used those years had to be booked by the end of June. There may have been other discounts after that date, but those were the ones that we took advantage of.

Subscribing. We just booked airfare for Oct 14 - Oct 20 and we're waiting for some room deals.

FWIW, I just booked Pop for $100.41 per night in Oct. just to have a ressie in hand. That's the AAA rate, I'll be looking for something better as we get closer to our dates. So it's $602.46 for 6 nights, tax, etc included, it was $89.25 before the extras.

Last year in addition to the AP And GP discounts, Disney Visa offered Free Dining Sept 28 through Dec 20.

thats pretty good !! we have AAA...I will check into that. I also have AP.
We closed our Disney Visa (chase sucks);)...so won't be going that route.

thx guys !:goodvibes

We booked through Magical Vacations for around $200/night total at the Poly. Even if free dining does pop up for our dates I think I'm going to keep our ressie.
