We Are Spending Thanksgiving With Mickey! A Disney.Nut PTR

Welcome to my first attempt at a PTR!

I've been roaming around the Disboards since Dec. of 2005. My family and I usually try to go to Disney twice a year during Spring Break (first full week in April) and also Thanksgiving week. We can't wait for for the day to come when we get to start our trip! Stick with us to stay updated with our adventure! Let me know if you are following along. Meet The Cast:

I'm Michelle. I'm a 42 year old wife, and mother and I work full time. I'm married to my high school sweetheart Lee. All my friends and family say that I'm obsessed with Disney. My hobbies include watching my daughter play softball, riding dirtbikes, all things Disney, and spending time with my family and dogs.

DH (Lee): He is a 41 year old hard worker, rides dirtbikes, and puts up with our obsession with Disney. He also loves Disney.

DD (Haley a.k.a. MotocrossTink on the Disboards and Lines): She is a 14 year old in the 9th grade and a straight A student, plays softball on atravel team called the GA Shockers and for her highschool team, rides dirtbikes, and is also obsessed with Disney.

Favorite Rides~ Test Track, Rock and Roller Coaster, and Journey into Imagination

DDBest Friend (Kristen): She is a 14 year old 9th grader, makes straight A's, and competes on a traveling gymnastics team.

We're eating Tgiving dinner at Captain's Grille. My DD loves the mini pumpkin cheesecakes there!

10 day Park Hoppers

That's right 10 days of park hopping. We usually start the morning at one park for Rope Drop and finish the night at a different park.

We will also be using the Disney Dining Plan for our meals. More to come later on this.​

The Osbourne lights are amazing.

We are at Yacht Club this time . . .we first saw the Osbourne Lights in November 09 . . they are amazing!! We've never eaten at Rose & Crown either . . .I can't wait to try it . . .it's going to be weird not being with my family on Thanksgiving, but we really wanted to take the kids and their significant others at a time where everyone was available. DH and I have been doing adult only trips for quite some time now, DD is 22 and lives with her boyfriend who is in the Army National Guard and DS is 18 and a Freshman in College, so their trips with us are pretty limited.

We can't wait! I wish they would have MVMCP during Thanksgiving, DD and DS have attended, but their boyfriend and girlfriend have never, but at least they'll be able to see the Christmas lights at MK and the castle all lit up . . .and of course, the Osbourne Lights . . .and I think maybe before we leave on Friday night we'll head back to Epcot to see the different Santa's. I wish we could of flown home on Saturday and/or Sunday, but the flights were $$$$ . .so I opted for a late Friday night flight . . .

This will be our 1st trip at Thanksgiving time and the grandkids are soooo excited! I am thinking of decorating their stroller with Christmas lights to get them more excited since all the Christmas decorations will be up at Thanksgiving. Has anyone since strollers decorated at Disney?
