Wow...I can't believe we are finally DVC Members. It has felt like a long wait and so well worth it. I called today and couldn't believe we were already in the system (3 days after closing). We booked our first trip for May 15-22nd and got 2 studios with Boardwalk Views! I want to truly thank everyone in the DisBoards community who helped us all the way through this process, what a great blessing that has been!

It certainly feels like a magical day

Here is the timeline for our 150 point Boardwalk Villas Purchase:
133 (08 points) and all 2009 and 2010 points included,
buyer paid MF and Closing, $81pp with GMAC
8/14 Made Offer & Offer Accepted
8/15 Contract Emailed Out to Buyer/Seller
8/18 Signed & Faxed Back, Credit Card Deposit Charged
8/19 Sent to ROFR
9/6 Passed ROFR
9/22 Closing Documents Arrive in Email
9/23 Closing Documents sent back Overnight Mail with Cashier's Check
10/7 Received Email that we Closed & Expect to be in system in 7-10 days
10/10 Called and We are in the System!

Wow, this gives me hope. I am going to call tomorrow and see if we are in the system. We closed on the 3rd. I didn't even try yet my luck isn't that good. Let's cross our fingers.
