My sister and I are vacationing at WDW in May with our families. We decided to treat our Mom and step Dad to a vacation too, and booked them at the Beach Club for 9 nights with hopper tickets and dining plan. They would never spend the money on a vacation and they never go anywhere. They have been on one vacation in the last 20 years and that was 10 years ago when we took them to Florida. We did take them to Disney then, for their first time, but we stayed offsite. This will be such a treat for them. I am more excited about them going than I am myself. I just had to share my excitement with other Disney lovers!
I would like for them to have some alone time and do some special things together without feeling like they have to be with us or the grandchildren 24/7. Any suggestions on what I can plan for them? Do I hand them a guide book and say "go do whatever you want"?
