We are doing a lot of character meals for my daughter. And I didn't know that just by going to restaurants you are guaranteed to "stuff your face." And well actually we are going to Disney because originally we booked a cruise but had to cancel it when we found out I was pregnant. We like relaxing, eating in restaurants, and walking around the park. I have been to WDW over 100 times. I do not feel that I am at all wasting park time. I can see and do everything that we want to see and do in the time we have at WDW. It isn't like we have never been there before and will never go again. My parent's have a vacation house there. I have vacationed there almost every year of my life and have even lived in Florida and worked at Disney. My 3 year old daughter has been to WDW 3 times already and 1 time to
Disneyland. We have never been on the dining plan before and want to eat at as many restaurants that we possibly can. And just fyi, my 3 year old loves going out to eat. She might not be the most behaved, but when she wants to eat, she wants to eat. She doesn't eat much at one sitting but likes to tastes things throughout the day and is used to 3 meals a day. My husband and I are foodies and our 3 year old has a very unique palate. For example, she has eaten and enjoyed duck and Indian food. So maybe some 3 year olds wouldn't like the idea of going to the restaurants, but our daughter does. She keeps telling everyone that she is going to eat with Mickey and the princesses. When we went on a cruise last year, she loved all of the food. When we got home, she was disappointed that there was no Lido deck at home lol.
