We are off to see the WORLD!!!!! Just the 3 of US!

Well it is official! We are doing the WORLD AGAIN! We were supposed to enjoy 8 days at HHI but we couldn't get in again, 2nd year in a row might I add, DH is getting a little burned out on Disney, we have gone every year, actually longer than my son is old ! The funny thing about this vacation situation is, my DS(6) and I kept teasing my DH saying, "Come on let's just do Disney again!" and of course he kept saying "NO we are going to HHI and that is all there is to it, not up for debate!" Little does he know we haven chosen a very busy time that is nearly impossible to get into especially since it is not our HOME resort. That 7 month window will get you every time. I call the wonderful guest services and I am informed that we have no availabliity for the time we want to be there. Okey Dokey, back to the drawing board.....I didn't have the nerve to call my DH so I text him, knowing that he was in a meeting at work a minute later I got a text back and I quote, "GRRRRRRRRR". So I kindly text him back an said we can try for another time, he responded, "It doesn't matter where we go as long as it is with the 2 of you". That was really sweet, and I knew he meant it and that he really didn't mind that we were going back. Only stipulation, we had to choose a different resort, we both agree that being a member of DVC is nice because we have many places to choose so as much as we loved SSR we wanted to roll the dice on a new resort....now a whole new can of worms have been opened..........where do we stay and when.....?

Ok, we have chosen to go June 11th thru the 18th! Originally when our plans got shot down, we chose AKV Kidani Village right off the bat but, I started getting a little nervous about staying there, I can't explain why, but I was not feeling it? So I called guest services and now we are staying at BWV, the problem is, these Disboards are so full of awesome information, that I can't make up my mind, So now we started looking into WL or BLT....I know that we are not the only ones who do this, I have read about the rest of you.... You all know who you are. We have stayed at so many of the resorts, and now being DVC members we like that we can be choosey. We have ressies at BWV and are still trying to figure out if we are making the right decision for us. We have never stayed at a resort close to MK and I think that is what is making us lean toward BLT and WL... and to think we can stay on the monorail well that would just be the BEST!

Happy Black Friday Shopping Everyone! Hope everyone made out like bandits w/ shopping. We are officially done Christmas Shopping. Now we can really get back to Vacation Planning. We love planning our vacations every year. My DH gets more involved as our vacation approaches, right now I am the detail person. I start picking up essentials here and there when I am out, DH doesn't really get into that stuff, or even realizes what goes into the packing. It might be a guy thing?

Ok we are officially having the debate to Dining Plan or not? We have done it during our past visits, but this past vacation in July we had groceries delivered ( not a ton) and had the dining plan, and we were not at the parks enough to make it worth our while, we had meals left on the card, and we had food and drinks left in the fridge. The other down side is planning out every single meal and making the reservations, I keep promising myself that one vacation we will wing it and just go with whatever floats our boats? What do you all think? Decisions Decisions
