We are off to eat and drink around the world :)....

Tuesday October 4th - We sleep in late, stayed out too late last night i guess.

Jim and Diana were have a tough time getting started this morning so we went to the Park without them.

Over the International Gateway, we go, heading to England today.

DSC_0128.jpg

They are not even open yet...
DSC_0129.jpg

We waited and then got a very fresh pipping hot Lobster and Scallop Fisherman’s Pie–$5.75. This was just as awesome as the last couple of years.

DSC_0130.jpg

DSC_0131.jpg

We are walking slowly waiting for our friends to show, they will come in at the main entrance, so we will meet them at the sphere.

DSC_0142.jpg

Finally after several minutes like 45 they show up.... It is so dang hot outside, that I just keep looking for the shade.

We make it back to the BOG
DSC_0144.jpg

DSC_0145.jpg

and on back to the world showcase....

Brandi - I like your pictures and was avidly looking at them. Do you know....all I could see at the end was that new Minnie image of the BAG???

Craft Beers kiosks

DSC_0147.jpg

Since I was so hot I decided I need a cold beer or three before I went any further...

DSC_0148.jpg

Red Hook Pilsner–$5.00, Leinenkugal–$5.00 and Widmer Hefeweizen-$5.00

DSC_0154.jpg

Kalua Pork Slider with Sweet and Sour Dole Pineapple Chutney and Spicy Mayonnaise–$3.00

Tuna Poke with Seaweed Salad and Lotus Root Chips–$3.75

Kona Longboard–$5.00

David ate the slider, I am allergic to Pineapple so I stayed away from it, he did not like it, it was too sweet for me, he is more a spice person.

The Tuna Poke was a different story, we both enjoyed this very much.

we pass by
DSC_0155.jpg

and then on to Canada
DSC_0156.jpg

Here David I shared some of the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup–$3.75, this stuff is amazing year after year, I made it over the winter last year and we both enjoyed it very much, lots and lots of calories, so you need someone else to help you eat it up!!!

DSC_0157.jpg

Jim got the Chicken Chipotle Sausage with Sweet Corn Polenta–$4.00
DSC_0158.jpg

I think they liked the polenta better than the sausage.

Next back to France for more Slushies....
DSC_0159.jpg

DSC_0160.jpg

These things are very addictive. and they are so cold, that during this heat they help alot...

Jim opted for the Lemon this time.
DSC_0161.jpg

While in France, we did a lot shopping and then sat down for some Coq au Vin sur gratin de macaroni (Red Wine braised Chicken, Mushrooms, Pearl Onions, and Macaroni Gratin)–$4.95 This stuff was GOOD! The mac n cheese part was so creamy and smooth and delicious.

DSC_0036.jpg

DSC_0162.jpg

All I could think about was how hot I was... I was not in the mood to eat anything, especially if it was warm or hot i.e, the Coq au Vin, so I tended to drink more, I even drank a bunch of water for those of you getting concerned, but who takes pictures of water....:rolleyes1

Anyway, I felt sorry for the characters. like this guy...

DSC_0163.jpg

We walked around to Japan, and watched the drummers while standing in the shade...
DSC_0164.jpg

DSC_0166.jpg

Next we pass Poland again
DSC_0167.jpg

Next is Norway, and I had to get into some Air conditioning or I was going to have to go back to the room and by this time my feet are causing much pain....

The next two pictures are not mine.... just for reference, I must have been in bad shape to not take any pictures..:sad2:

epcot-norway-2.jpg

So we decide to ride Maelstrom, since I can sit in the cool air...

DSC_0179.jpg

DSC_0180.jpg

to me this guy looks funny...
DSC_0182.jpg

At this point I am begging off I have to go rest in the room and relax..

I go to the room and just lay down on the bed and relax, and cool off.
I really am enjoying the Beach Club Villas, being right there at the International Gateway, it is so easy to get back to the room, no waiting for a bus, nothing.

This afternoon was the DIS meet and we had a lot of fun...

No, the Flying Fish meal was wonderful...The Chef's Tasting is available all year, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I think there was 28 booths this year, there have been more and less during the years. It is a lot of fun!

Fantastic food porn. Now I'm hungry! :headache:

I hear and see really great things about Flying Fish. I'm gonna try to get there in October next year.

I noticed that there were 3 of you that had the Jamborini tee's on. Who is who????
