WE'RE OFF IN THE MORNING!!!
whoooo hooo, our time has come!!
thank you to everyone on this board for all the advice and information! I will put it all to good use!!
well what a day I had!!! Planned to get an early night last night... as we are leaving at 3am tomorrow morning. But!!!! My son had other ideas... he woke up at 12 midnight in agony with toothache
So was up all night rocking him to sleep and dosing him up on calpol! In the morning, was manically trying to get hold on dentist... time for school came and went... so school was a miss (oups extra day off) finally got hold of dentist... he was on the way to a holiday himself .. well after alot of yelling with recptionists....i finally got him an emergency appointment! And he was an infection under his poor tooth! So is on antibiotics.... i started him on them at lunchtime.. and they reckon pain should settle down tomorrow... just keep him topped up. today he has been switching between calpol and calbrufen... and thats been doing the job.. he running around like a mad thing!! what do they put in calpol??!! he has gone hyper on me.... so good news is, we are still off... and ben has aquired... extra energy dispite the poorly gum!!

so excited now.... but got 2 hours sleep last night.. and up again tomorrow at 3am.. joy!! so am exhausted already... and not even travelled yet! haha

still... i refuse to make this trip anything less them magical and emotional and wonderful!!

oh im sorry his tooth is at him. it always happens at the worst time lol. i know what you mean about calpol i gave it to my 23 month old last night and she stayed up till twelve laughing her *** off!!

BTW Calpol contains an e number which can cause hyperactivity: think it's called carmoisine! I buy Asda's own now as it doesn't have this e number and it's cheaper!!!
