Thanks for the snow!

We are here with my daughter's high school French Club and we are having a wonderful time. This is the most beautiful old city and the people are so nice to us.

Being from Louisiana we don't get a lot of snow and today was like a bonus to us.

Enjoy Quebec City! I actually worked in Quebec City for 3 summers when I was attending university and it is a great place in the summer. The wonderful cafes in old quebec and sitting outside having a beverage are fantastic. It is also a stopover for me on the way back home since it is the mid point of my 16hour drive back to Gaspe which is also beautiful in the summer.

Today we went to various points of interest but the big thing was a visit to a Sugar Shack tonight. We all had a ball. Lots of good food and dancing. What a great day to cap off another wonderful day.

Lots warmer today but there was snow on the ground at the Sugar Shack. Enough for the kids (and some grownups too) to have a pretty good snowball fight. For people from Louisiana it was a big deal!

Now I know why most everyone here is in such great shape, they walk everywhere. I'm acually enjoying that too. At home we don't walk enough.
