Ok I would have never gone to DC with a baby, but my mom just informed me that she just booked us all for DC in three weeks during our Disney Vacation. We are so excited this is somthing I have always dreamed of, it will be me, DH, DD 11, DD9, DD9m, my mom and dad. My mom will not get in the water at all, I know she can help with the baby but is their anything the baby can do? Can we bring her a float for the pool, Can she go in the tropical reef, can we bring in the stroller, IS there any air conditioning. Can she wear her own sunscreen??? I know to many questions, but we leave in two weeks and I need to prepare. Thanks for any info.

You cannot use your own sunscreen, they have their own they provide. I don't think you could bring your own floatie either. They do have life jackets you can use though. Just before the lazy river, there is a large area of shallow water that you guys could hang out in and there is lots of sand, so she would be able to play in that. Can't remember air conditioning, but there is lots of shade available. You *could* take her in the tropical lagoon, but it is quite deep and you really can't see anything without going under. You can take her in the stingray pool...that is shallow and she could touch the rays. I would avoid the lazy river as you have to go under a couple of heavy waterfalls. You can also take her into the bird aviary through a walk-in door. Have fun!!
