We are going to deposit 1 week with Interval International for DVC. Add meal plan?

Sorry if this has been asked 100 times. . . We are going to deposit 1 week with Interval International and try to get a DVC week. Can we add the meal plan even if we book through Interval? Also, I'm not sure if it is still available, but last time we stayed on property (feb 2007), we really enjoyed the bus trip from the airport to the hotel. Can we add that on as well? I can't remember what it is called but I didn't have to worry about our 100 bags . .

We are going in 2009. Last trip we stayed on property (not through Interval)with the meal plan and it really worked for us.

Yes - if you exchange into DVC from II, you may add both Magical Express and the Dining Plan.

You would call MS to do it - the number is on the documentation you receive from II. Since you have to call MS to pay the additional fee Disney charges exchangers, you can just do it then.

As Carol stated, yes you can. Realize you must get the DDP for the entire group for all 7 days even if you don't stay 7. Don't forget about the extra $95 resort services fee above your exchange fee. Make sure you plan at least 11 months out, realize it's unlikely you'll get a 2 BR and that certain times are very unlikely to be available.

Are you aware of the changes to the meal plan? Some don't think it's quite as good of a deal as it was last time you used it.

Caskbill is right. Now the dining plan does not include gratuity or an appetizer, and the 18% gratuity will be automatically added on your bill at the table.

Actually the autogratuity is only added for parties of 6 or more. It is also added onto the DDE discounts but not the DDP.

The DDP bills now as of 2008 will show a line for tip where you must add in the amount and indicate if paying or charging to your room.
